many millennials are just larger children
otabill, from other thread is correct. millennials do not get their news from facebook. why, facebook, at least for now, allows multiple opinions. these 'children' prefer news form buzzfeed, vox, nyt and other similar sites that have only one view. i may be a conservative, but everyday, i go to nyt, wapo and cnn, to be exposed to another viewpoint.
these kids are not going to do that, they would like to outlaw opposing views. that is why they are just larger children and their opinions and demands should receive the same consideration, as that of any other uninformed person. consider the demands of the 'kid terrorists' who have taken over seattle. they include free college, free heathcare and free housing for everyone. they have no clue the cost of such dreams or how to fund them, other than take the money from anyone who has more than them.
these kids are no different than other generation young people, other than the media gives them expansive coverage.
best example of how media can influence opinions. gallop estimates that approx 4-4.5% of usa population is gay. yet, when they poll americans every year, the estimates keep getting higher. most recent polls estimate the number to be near 25%. why, because the press keeps talking about gays as if there are many more than actually are.

And of course, many old people are also just older larger children who suck on the teat of Fox News while spewing out insulting nicknames for anyone who disagrees with them politically.

outrage, but, of course, no facts. typical response from the liberal left.
-according to a PEW study, more than 90% of news stories about trump are negative. FACT!
-the stats i quoted about gays were from GALLOP. FACT!
-according to a story in MARKET WATCH, 2019, despite decade long economic expansion and record unemployment, 60-70% of 18-34 year olds are reliant on their parents for financial assistance. FACT!
-the media news sites i quoted most used by millennials is available for review on multiple sites. FACT!
-i did not quote a single FOX news source or story. FACT!
what other name do these uninformed, dependent on others, non contributors to tax base, highly demanding, 'participation award' recipient, selfie taking, celebrity influenced folks deserve.....other than large children.

That's because 90% of the things he does are terrible.
You would probably be upset if a turd sandwich received less than 2.5 stars in a food review because that's "biased."

Nobody wants to work for anything anymore. Most all of the younger generation has no concept at all of work and sacrifice to get ahead. People I know that have businesses have a hard time because the younger emloyees not only call out all of the time, but many times they just don’t show up for work at all. By the way, I see we have a new crop of total losers showing up here and there.

you would have a better argument if you said you find a high percentage of what he SAYS to be terrible. but, to disregard the many accomplishments is simply not telling the truth. record setting low unemployment (before chinese virus), healthy economy, reduced onerous rules/regs, securing our borders, getting NATO countries to pay more for their own defense, prison reform and increased funding to black colleges, both helping minorities, pre covid wage increases that were greater at the low end of income earners, record stock levels which increase all americans financial prospects and i could go on and on.
but, none of this has anything to do with all that i presented about young large children, some of whom have taken up rioting and looting as a profession. can't defend their dependence on both family and taxpayers, unseen in other generations, which were not coddled and spoiled.
as far as trump's other imperfections, i'll go no further than bill clinton, who's sexual exploits continue to be exposed, including participating with jeffrey epstein. i didn't hire trump because he was a boy scout, but because he got things done, that i believe in. list the 8 years of obama accomplishments and try to compare to trump's 4 years. not even close.

Zero for the 8 years comes to mind, but the damaging ones would fill so many pages, I would run out of ink.

the right to free speech doesn't just protect protesters and rioters (mostly young people) right to yell obscenities at elected officials they disagree with and the police. and, freedom of the press doesn't just protect published viewpoints, that they agree with. these educated large children don't seem to recognize the most important point of these rights is that it protects opposing views as well. liberals used to believe in this right. that is what makes america great and one of the reasons folks beg to come here.
by limiting their news sources to liberal opinions only, they are getting only one side of any issue. following the crowd will limit their success in life. being independent, seeking the entire truth, welcoming differing opinions, is what makes one capable of making the decisions in life that get one ahead and well rounded.
these young folks also don't seem to understand they are being used by those on the political left. do they really believe that the wealthy and powerful liberals are going to do away with police, it will never happen.

Is the owner of a certain Wendy's restaurant afforded the right to free speech when they ask: "WHY was my restaurant set on fire only to be burnt to the ground?"
