hooray for NYC. on top of leading the nation in chinese virus deaths, #1 for loss of population, according to cnbc-retail rent plummeting-shopping areas turning into ghost towns, they have already reached another milestone. their shootings, with 5 months to go, have already matched entire 2019 totals. they are not alone, chicago murders are up 139%.

You both are good soldiers in trumpism and ignore the damage most of the country has suffered because of trump and his mishandling of the trump virus. I do have a lot of respect for and watch Chris Wallace on Fox News. But most of the trump infomercials that air on Fox news in the evening like Hannity, Carlson and others are nothing more than mostly untrue propaganda and hate filled vitriol. Maybe for one week you should both watch Chris Cuomo, Joe Scarborough, and Anderson Cooper, and watch them interview some of the health experts they have on there that give factual information on the trump virus. You might learn a thing or two. But, I forgot. Those type of shows are the type of shows your fearless leader refers to as fake news. In fact any source anywhere that reports true verifiable facts that do not favor trump are labeled by your leader as fake news.

I am so encouraged to see a growing number of republicans breaking away from trump and his propaganda and misguided leadership. Those numbers continue to grow as trump schemes to do whatever it takes to keep himself in power with the latest scheme voter suppression. All of us should be able to vote by mail. Any attempt to prevent that during the current pandemic is voter suppression. A clear abuse of power.

The reason I hear from almost every Trump 2016 voter who is voting for Biden this year is the same: He's not Trump.

I am a good example. A fairly moderate Republican who came of age with Ronald Reagan, one of the greatest presidents ever. But with Trump, it is not about policies at all. It is about failed leadership and a terrible, horrible example to set for our children with his mean, frequently underhanded tweets and other pronouncements.

Even worse, in my opinion, and the clincher for me, was his refusal to accept upfront way back at the beginning of the COVID-19 situation that action was needed. His refusal to accept expert medical advice is unacceptable for a president. His teasing of Biden for wearing a facemask at a time when an example for Americans needed to be set is perhaps the worst example of presidential leadership in modern times.

So to answer your question ---- it is not about Biden; it's about Trump. He is headed for a landslide loss, and a big part of that will be 2016 Trump voters who are either voting for Biden or not voting at all. This is not hyperbole --- I see this on a regular basis in talking about the election with friends, family members, and co-workers. Again --- it is not about Biden; it's about Trump.
