after businesses spent many hundreds of millions, including casinos, to put in temp checks for patrons/employees entering their business, now, fauci says they are unreliable. didn't he also say masks weren't needed at one time?

Another weak attempt to discredit Fauci. Like trump, you are trying to discredit a member of his own team that is trying to help us. No wonder the federal response is so pathetic. When testing for the trumpvirus, asymptomatic people do NOT show a temperature. Therefore Fauci is right just as he is almost every single time. Just like trump has been WRONG almost every single time. If trump had of left his ego at the door and not meddled in something he knows nothing about, and let Fauci and other medical experts lead the way we would have this virus on the ropes by now. Instead because of trump, the virus has us on the ropes, our kids are not safe returning to school, and the death total spirals out of control towards 250,000 before the NOV 3rd election. Quite a contrast from what trump has been saying. "We are doing a pretty good job. The virus will soon go away." Someone needs to tell the emperor that he has no clothes on. DUMP TRUMP 2020.

my point is this, a highly respected science/medical person says that it is likely that everyone who is chinese virus symptomatic, has an elevated temp. businesses spend money on equipment to do temp checks, as a precaution. then, same science/medical person decides the temp checks are not reliable. problem is, the money has already been spent on the equipment. businesses set up temp check points, manned by human personal, another cost.

so, while these changes or adjustments in positions many be understandable when dealing with a new pandemic, the science folks don't give a rat's a$$ about the cost of any of their recommendations. if they are wrong, no big deal, they still get paid, but society has paid a price. that price is both financial and human costs, we still do not know.

heard the other day, less than 110, under age 20, have died from chinese virus. the number, in same age group, who have committed suicide or are victims of abuse at home, is many times more.

the cure can actually be worse than the disease and there is a cost for everything.

Your argument is... what? Fauci is Trump's own expert. You are mad at Trump for not firing him? You are mad at businesses for listening to Trump's expert? You are mad that the recommendations today may be different than they were a few months ago? What is your point exactly?

very early in the pandemic, we were all told to shut down, to 'bend the curve'. the country did that. the hospitals, outside of nyc, were not overwhelmed. then, the rules changed. only rioters/looters were allowed out. any wonder people got fed up with more mandates.

Notes you are on the WRONG side of the ongoing argument trump versus Fauci. Fauci knows what he is talking about. trump does not. Fauci tells us the truth. trump does not. Fauci has an extensive education and professional background in studying the type of disease and pandemic we are dealing with now. trump has no educational background or experience in dealing with trumpvirus. He is an amateur con man and makes things worse by meddling in it. The vast majority of Americans trust, respect, and have confidence in Fauci. The majority of Americans cannot wait to see trump leave office because he is a liar, lacks empathy, cares only about himself, and seeks to divide rather than unite.

You are not seeing things through a clear lens. But that is what watching carlson, hannity, ingraham, and others talking heads like them night in and night out and holding everything they say as the gospel truth, will do to you.
