According to his Wikipedia page, he has been a talk radio host since 1995, and did some pro bono work for the NCCP back in the Bush administration. Since then he seems to be famous for being a talking head on various television show. His biggest role appears to be a color commentator during OJ Simpsons civil case. His most recent " civil rights" case seems to be trying to re-instate a football player expelled for assaulting a referee. That was in the late 1990s, if I read the article correctly.
You are correct, I never heard of him. Evidently few people have. In his one race for public office, he finished fifth out of seven candidates.

NEW YORK — A Long Island bar that reportedly bragged on Instagram about taking bets for whether New York City or Chicago will have the most Labor Day weekend shootings is now squarely in the crosshairs of the State Liquor Authority.

New York state officials blasted the Cliffton in Patchogue for its “repugnant” post — and said that the bar was already in trouble for refusing to let inspectors check it for coronavirus violations.

Several social media users posted screen grabs of the betting pool Saturday, which looks like a Super Bowl box pool and suggests that the bar will take 10% of the proceeds.

“Numbers are up early. Let the shooting sprees begin!” the Instagram post reads.

Patchogue is an interesting place. My summer house is two towns over and when my Mom was a teenager, it was the closest place to see a movie and grab an icecream. It was dominated by a huge fortress like building that actually was a textile mill. By the time I was a teenager, the mill had closed ,as had most of the stores. Where the main road to the Hamptons used to run thru its main street, a bypass was built and the town just went down hill.
It made national news when a group of teenagers went "bean hunting", attacking what they thought would be illegal immigrants. They beat up, and urinated on a number of people and the night culminated with the stabbing death of an Equadorian man who was in town for a baptism.
The community really rallied after that and they managed to attract some investments into the town. The mill is now a private college and numerous bars and dining options opened.
In 2016, then candidate trump went to the spot where the man was killed and spoke out against criminal invaders coming to our country.
The bar in question has an interesting history, according to google. The community has staged several protests in front of the bar and it appears it is now closed.

PORTLAND has been under siege for months. elected DEM officials have allowed this to happen. the DEM mayor is facing a recall referendum. NOW, he is being forced to move. why, the violence that HE allowed is driving him away from his home. the street criminals have been trying to burn down his building. how fitting, seems only a fair result for what he has allowed.

but, what about others, who spent their lives building a business, in the same area. they just can't move somewhere else. DEMS ARE HYPOCRITES.

in separate news and no surprise, and i love watching it happen....the NBA and MLB ratings are in the toilet. i grew up playing and watching sports. the public is tired of watching over paid athletes getting political and telling us what to think. screw all of them.

lets see what happens with their big fat contracts and endorsement. many of them are so damn stupid they are bankrupt within a few years of their careers ending.

This is really hard to believe, but 78 percent of NFL players and 60 percent of NBA file bankruptcy within 5 years of retirement. I don’t know if this is an IQ problem, poor upbringing, just being passed along in school, or a combination of all 3. Most if them earn more in a season than we will earn in a lifetime. By the way, I’m done watching either one forever. Their antics against the flag and our country disgust me. There are exceptions of course. By the way, many of their problems stem from fathering many children as many as ten by 8 different women. Child support issues galore. Some have earned over 100 million bucks not even counting endorsements
