Re: A couple of good ones!
Not a winning session this time, but mask enforcenent was better. One decent hit pic attached, but not enough to save the 600 bankroll this trip. Played at least 14 hours total between last nite and today. Just got home. At least had dinner and gas for the car on them. During the course of play, I was dealt 4 to a Natural Royal twice, but couldn’t connect. If I had, one would have been 10,000 and the other 15,000. I was also dealt 3 deuces 6 times, but couldn’t connect on the last card and about a dozen 4 to a wild Royal, but none connected. A couple of times, had the quad deuces hit, it would have been for 3,000, and another time 4,000. Bets got pretty high with the clone, in the teens and 20s for the number of quarters bet. Racked up enough ooints to fill the car twice or one really nice dinner, but I was a loser when all was said and done. Oh and I forgot. I was dealt 4 Aces twice, but couldn’t connected for the 5 th one either.

Good grief, another chump change photo from the sovereign land. How the mighty have fallen! To celebrate my unlikely portfolio comeback, I will be playing up a storm this weekend. With any luck, I should match your $240 hit.

Another old tried and true saying.....What goes up, must come down. If I intend to find a spot on a busy street corner with my tin cup, I had better bone up on my rusty guitar skills. Otherwise, I would. be better off scouring the casino floor for unwanted tito tickets. Due to the change shortage, they are quite easy to find now on the tops of Atms or even left in the machines. I haven’t read the details on an email I received, but I guess even Ocean State Job Lot is offering gift cards at a 40 percent discount if you buy them with coin. Will have to explore that further. I don’t think they carry new guitar strings though

I spoke too soon. Financial meltdown in progress! So much for timing the market.

Last minute trip last night late. No room. Just drove up for 8 hours. Lost badly on 97 percent DDS. Martingale clone bailout on Airport Deuces. Pics attached. Gave 300 back though before quitting. My mistake. Ended up dead even for the evening. Avoided disaster with the big dealt quad deuces hand.

Nice hits on the ducks olds, I have a question. Regarding the dealt deuces, why not just hold all 5 cards taking into consideration that the hand cannot be improved?

One time years ago, the electronics in the machine weren’t lined up properly. I was so excited on the hit, I held that last card and hit deal. Little did I know, it unheld my last deuce instead of holding the last card. They finally paid me, after 2 hours of haggling and going up the ladder. Ever since then, this is what I do. Even now on some machines, there will be various sorts of similar errors. The most common one is when it changes from credits to cash or deals when you are trying to change your bet amount. There are very old machines and get little to no maintenance.

Nice bailout Olds. I've had issues with old machines as well. Always need to be cautious.

I know it is crazy, makes no sense, and is contrary to anything logical unless the programming in the new machines is different, but after millions of hands I still find that the losing sequences are shorter on the old machines. On the other hand, the winning cycles on the new ones seem to be compressed. It probably works out the same in the end, but the new ones will bust my budget faster than the old ones. Also, for Some reason, Mohegan Sun pulled the new ones out that paid 99 percent leaving the older ones with that luxury. There are only about 6 or 8 working 99 percent quarter machines left. All the rest have been reprogramed to be 8/5 or lower job and the really crapoy return tables for deuces wild. If they remove the remaining ones, I will have to abandon ship and go back to Foxwoods, but only go 1/4 as often because their 99 percent machines are dollars abd few of them at that.

The machines I have been playing since the casinos reopened are old game kings that have been at Casino Arizona for many years. While I have had some dry spells, I agree that they seem to be more consistent than newer machines I came across in Vegas when we went to Vegas 3-5 years ago. Just my experience.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sat Sep 05, 2020 6:10 pmI know it is crazy, makes no sense, and is contrary to anything logical unless the programming in the new machines is different, but after millions of hands I still find that the losing sequences are shorter on the old machines.
