the us poverty rate, as determined by the Census bureau, hit a record LOW in 2019. the poverty rate for blacks and hispanics also hit record LOWS.

it took a republican to do what dems are always saying what they will do....help the poor. dem answer always the same, give away more free stuff. trump's answer, let everyone have an opportunity to work, increase their income and improve their lives.

he did this by creating an environment for business by reducing rules and regs, reduce taxes so companies stay/expand here, penalize china/others when they break the rules, new trade agreements, and importantly, act like a cheerleader for the usa. he had a well thought out plan, that few have given him credit for, they only want to criticize.
