What a tug-of-war this game is. I wish I got the end of the road with some good braiding to it instead of the other end that somebody greased with Crisco

Just give me the one memorable hand and I'm out of AC and here. It's about memories, like all vacations.

Why? If you are not playing or participating for enjoyment, why wait?

Had a good ending today to a near disaster last night. I wasn’t waiting long enough on the Martingale Clone on DDS Bonus Deuces wild before I upped my bets. I figured that out about 2 AM last night when I was about 500 down. So I hit the hay, had a great breakfast in the lounge this morning, then doubled my wait time before increasing a bet. In 2 hours late morning today, I was able to hit these leaving me plus 300 for the sessions. I also came very close to hitting 4 deuces about 4 times, and had 2 shots at a natural dealt Royal. Had the Royal hit, it would have paid for half of the new Mercedes I am considering. In the meantime, my 2019 Elantra just turned 30k miles already after 16 months. So far it has been a great car. Not one trip back for anything. Most cars now on I 95 are averaging 78-82 mph up my way, but if I keep it at 65, it gets 54 mpg. At 78, it still gets 45 mpg. Amazing. My muscle cars in the 60s and 70s got about 9 mpg and I had to run premium too. Anyway, pics af the latest bailout are attached.

PS. I would love to know the real answer why casinos are not putting these machines back in when they wear out. These machines are as old as the casino. They have a less than 98% return. Years ago, the head of the slot department told me they are real money makers for the casino because people can play twice as many hands in the same amount of time as draw poker. I wonder if it has to do with the fact that it is not easy to make mistakes playing this game compared to draw poker. Maybe the casinos are counting on novices Playing draw poker and making tons of mistakes I’m not sure. If B D happens to know the answer to this, I would love to hear it or anyone else who might have a theory why they never replace worn out double down stud machines in a casino.

NICE OLDS never gets old seeing nice hits!

I see you play at the slow speed of the machine. I have been playing on the fast speed but last few days trying the middle speed.

I kinda like slow the best. Having very limited vision in one eye from birth is one reason why. Have made a few mistakes I regret over the years on the mid and high speed. Also these machines are now so old and quirky, I need to make sure I have the hands right. Being 72 adds a bit of the reason, though I feel 40. Funny, the Mrs says..... yes, 72.... feel 40 uh hmmm maybe, act 17 yes!!! Of course I take that as a compliment!

Nica bailouts. I play medium speed but take my time holding cards for the redraw. I wind up playing maybe 400 -500 hands per hour. I don't count hands but rather estimate based on the points accumulated during my sessions.

Calculating hands played based on points earned can be very accurate as long as one knows how many dollars played equals one point. Then you would have to figure the amount bet per hand and adjust that accordingly to get an accurate hand count. Unfortunately, that won’t work for me as my bets per hand are all over the place
