As are mine. We’re just not cookie cutter players.

Not even one good one in last night’s and today’s session. Close but no cigar. Thank goodness no cigar, no pun intended. Played strictly DDS Bonus deuces wild. Tier level cutoff is 9/30. Looks like I wil be droping a level. Better than dropping the kind of coin I did yesterday. A mirror image and then some of the recent bad one I posted about. Had 2 shots at a natural royal. About 6 shots at quad deuces. No dice. This game long term is supposed to yield a paying hand better than a push about every 5 deals. The average for these 2 sessions of over 6,000 hands was 7. Without one of the top hands hitting, with a spread like that, it’s like a drain that has just been opened except it’s not water that is draining.

Calculating hands played based on points earned can be very accurate as long as one knows how many dollars played equals one point. Then you would have to figure the amount bet per hand and adjust that accordingly to get an accurate hand count. Unfortunately, that won’t work for me as my bets per hand are all over the place
It is easy for me. I only have played single hand, 5 coin in DDB (and once a few hands of TDB) at only one casino since it reopened. I get 1 point for each $1.00 bet and have accumulates 24,799 points. Divide that number by $1.25 bet per hand. I have never deviated from max coin. The result, 19839.2 hands played. The .2 makes no sense to me. Must have been a fluke.

I wonder what card the .2 was? Heeee. Yes, OTB super accurate and easy for you. The closest I can come is using my historic number of hands per hour. Usually right about 600 hands per hour. Of course on DDS it is much higher. It gets complicated when there are interruptions and I try and keep track of those. I am sure I am off by no more than 5 percent or so. One thing that slows me down on DDS is these old machines. If I want to bet 14 quqrters, I have to hit the bet one 14 times. The next deal might be 13 so I have to hit the button 13 times. Anyway, I don’t mind except it is rough on the a bit arthritic hands over time.
It never ceases to amaze me how lacking in some skils the new generation is compared to some of the ones we still have. The other day, three guys in their early 2Os were arguing how much each of them would have to
pay on a tool they were buying. The tool was 48 bucks. None of them could do it in their head. One guy was taking out his phone to use the calculator. I knew one guy a bit so I wasn’t worried about interrupting them. As I was walking by, I just said 16 bucks each but don’t forget the sales tax. The other one said how the ..... are we supposed to figure that? I said make it 17 each and you will be within a few pennies. They looked at me like I was some sort of genius. Heeeee. Then I showed them on their phone a quick way to get their total on an item with the sales tax before they get to the
register. I said just take out your phone and multiply the price by 1.0635. They were amazed it could be done in one step. Most people are still confused and don’t understand how that gives one the correct answer.

I kind of like bumping up the Bet 1 button. It gives me the illusion of control. I really love it when the max quads hit like Saturday.

Hit 3 good ones last night. All on DDS. One was on DDS joker. Unfortunately, none of the hits put me ahead or just slightly so. Lots of cold streaks in between. So it ended up being a bust. Negative 500..... Due for another good hand pay to get back to even. Of course being due doesn’t mean it will happen

Brutal session. I really lowball my wagers after -$150. This of course ensures a negative session.

I really should do the same thing. Most times you don’t get lucky and continue to tank. The few times you do come back, reinforce the above usually bad behavior.

Starve the machine at Bet 1 for eight to ten hands and watch the duds remarkably mount.
