the odds of someone breakening and entering?
suppose your that 1/1000 pick every 27 seconds, i read alot of reports in usa you are accountable if that person manages to injure himself while stealing the goods or decides to harm you or someone else.
not only have they manage to sue but they have had success in american history past.
what should i do if i am unlucky enough where a person breaks into my home and injures themselves?
am i going to end up paying for his or her medical bill because he or she had a bad back and i couldn't help them carry out my tv or slips and falls on the oily floor?
seriously i feel like im living in the tv show family guy or south park sometimes...

Smart people have insurance for these situations. Smarter ones have a few pre-dug holes.

Smartest people have a short-barreled shotgun (the best self defense weapon IMO).
Voila no law suit.

9 pellets in 12 gauge 00, 3 foot pattern at 20 feet, pretty hard to miss. Only problem being you will probably need a new door.

With any luck, you will be able to save the hinges. For other uses, I have my Great Great grandfather’s 20 gauge Remmington pump he bought new in the 1920s with all of the original paoerwork. My great uncle used to tell me his dad would sometimes get a double Woodcock with that shotgun, nearly impossible since they would go straight up like a helicopter. He was and I forget what year National Flintlock champion. Best guess just before WW1. I was so fortunate to get tips from my Great Grandfather as a boy. My hunter safety course was taught by an elder Nationally famous shooter and my pistol mentor and also my neighbor was a National Champion with the model 1911 during WW2. Couldn’t have ever asked for better training and even better all were for God and Country no matter what gentlemen beyond words. I think it was 1960 or so when Khrushchev banged his shoe on the table at the UN abd told me never ever trust the Russians.

Great foundation building in a young person.
I fear that this experience is falling away for the last few generations.
Shooting sports and hunting participant #'s are slowly dropping.

You are absolutely right Tech. Some of the best shooters with amazing backgrounds are now in their 80s and 90s and they are still out there but the classes of Younghans coming in are very small
