Thanks as always for the replys.  I have to say, it does seem that most knowledgable people tend to play many credits in each machine.  Atleast the ones that have written posts here do. 
 
I understand the randomness of the rng and my chances at being a winner both in the short term and the long term. Enough said on that issue. I am not so much concerned about how wrong my theory is.  As Shadow said "whatever works for you".  I am cool with that.   I was interested in what you all were doing just for the heck of it.  I enjoy comparing my play to that of other players.  It is not just correct strategy I am after.  Sometimes just eliminating a little waisted effort makes the event that much more pleasant..

On a more serious note though,  I too find I have better luck when depositing larger amounts of credits, be it cash or a ticket, but that could simply be a side effect of having more "chances" to hit something. 
 
I've hit 4 Aces on my very first hand several times and of course that wouldn't have mattered if I had put $5 in or $500.  To each his own I guess is the going conception and I tend to agree.
