Ct casinos are cutting back
The story made the evening news tonight. Fox Tower which is the old MGM casino hotel now part of Foxwoods is closing, Gaming hours in Fox Tower are cut way back. the Rainmaker casino at Foxwoods is closing, other partial hotel closures at Foxwoods as well as their theater. Mohegan Sun has cut back on staff and shortened server work weeks to 4 days among on things. Both casino cutbacks have resulted in additional layoffs.

Haven’t been enough to be able to do it. Usually, I play my usual game and lately my tight schedule at home with family matters has me running back and forth. When things calm down, I plan to try it though.

I thought I read a report somewhere that because of COVID-19, the multipliers on Ultimate X will be cut back and the highest multiplier will no longer be 12X and 8X will be the highest available.

I don't get the association- Covid means less players = less profit, so cut the payoffs to maintain margin? Poor business strategy in my opinion. Although, if I would've hit my DDB AWAK at Windcreek last week for 16000 nickels instead of 24000, I would've avoided the W-2G.

I don’t play Ultimate X, but the Mrs does. She said on her nickel games at Mohegan Sun, 12x is still on the machine on the DDB game.

By the way, raise prices, cut quality, reduce portions, and you are gone. Failure = trying to maintain or raise your bottom line on the customer’s back in a weak demand market.

Everyone relax, I WAS KIDDING!
Think, cutbacks being made because of COVID-19? Cutback from a 12X multiplier to 8X.

Sounds like something they might try though. I will never forget back in August of 2011, I asked a slot attendant to watch my machine for a minute while I made a quick Pit stop. In five minutes I was back and a roving crew had already placed tiny stickers on all of the machines including mine that return 99 percent. They remain to this day and read.....This machine does not pay Momentum Dollars. Those Points called Momentum dollars spend one for one dollar in the casino. I used to carry about 9,000 of them on my account. I now have less than 100.
