Why must you lie?

I speak to God, as any good Irishmen must if he desires a conversation with his equal, but I would never speak for him. He's far too unpredictable for me to know his mind.

good news for those worried about getting the chinese virus. with genius joe in the white house, he has decided and already ordered a return to 'catch and release'. this means thousands and maybe millions of illegal aliens, whose health conditions we know nothing about, will be coming to stay forever. they may be standing and breathing right next to you, next time you go out.

on top of the obvious health concerns, black and brown people will have their jobs at risk, as all these unskilled poor folks will certainly take many jobs from existing americans. dem wealthy donors will love it because they will get more cheap labor.

and further, as the genius has already promised, all those illegals who make it here, will get FREE healthcare, provided by us taxpayers.

now, why would anyone risk the health of millions of americans, hurt the employment chances of blacks and hispanics and have the rest of us pay the illegals health care....one reason only....more needy/dependent voters to keep dems in power.

is this what all you liberals wanted when you voted for joe?

joe biden, 05/02/2019, per NBC news, CHINA was "not competition" for the usa. "china is going to eat our lunch? c'mon man".

joe biden, 02/10/2021, per CNBC, CHINA is going to eat our lunch...".

same guy, same subject matter, different answer.

c'mon man, which is it? how many pinocchio's does this get?

I don't think they fact check expressions such as whether someone is "going to eat our lunch." There may be more of the conversation that demonstrates a change in his views, but I haven't heard it.

Biden is such a doofus, I'm actually impressed at how well he is refraining from major gaffs. There are much worse ones to come than this, I'm certain.

As for whether China is going to eat our lunch or not, that may very well have changed in the past year based on what is being served. Trump tended to favor McDonald's.

😂 and Bill Clinton too. Funny, I know I shouldn’t but I just finished a sausage McMuffin. The other one goes home. They are 2 for 2 right now. Appetite coming back after reaction fron 2nd vaccine shot yesterday. Better have a big bowl of spinach for dinner later.

Honestly, I think the McMuffin is one of the best things they offer. A real egg, sausage, and a buttered english muffin. Not a bad breakfast, if you ask me. China can have our lunch, but if they come for our all day breakfast it's war. Meaning... I'm going out for Chinese food at lunch tomorrow if they even think about it.

One of Biden's biggest "failures" so far in my opinion was doing what many recent Presidents have done, which is promising some things "on day one" that they can't deliver. For Biden, one such thing would be those $2,000 stimulus checks (now $1600?). Which he can't do single-handedly, he needs Congress so the claim was always highly suspect.

I'm not complaining about that failure, because I'm not in favor of the checks to begin with. But it's a fail.

Republicans pressing to have the checks be more targeted based on much lower income brackets is at least a step in the right direction. But I am generally opposed to these multi-billion dollar "stimulus" handouts altogether so you probably won't find me favoring it no matter what the final negotiations are.

Biden and the Democrats said they wanted to get $2,000 to every American. While Trump was in power, they managed to get $600 and now under Biden they want to deliver the rest. I think it was pretty clearly understood that the last stimulus bill was just a down payment.
Targeting by income makes sense, but how do you factor in the difference in cost of living ? A $50,000 income in rural Arizona and you can live pretty nicely. Not so much so in Queens or Brooklyn. Nor in many urban settings. I'd say a family making $100,000 living on Long Island lives less well than a family making $70,000 in Arkansas.
