Re: Martiandale Clone
It can potentially be fun. I would not be opposed to a Bally’s bender marathon if it achieved your astonishing results!

What I like best about it is preservation of capital unless you have quadless and almost fullhouseless days. In those cases, no matter what you do, you will probably lose anyway. When I get a quad, I am able to retrace 21-24 spaces. If quads come close together, you will almost always end back at bet 5 unless uou decide to cash out.
If I am at bet 12 and hit a quad, my next bet will be at bet 6 or at most bet 7. I have my own built in rule as well and that is anytime my credit total meets or exceeds my high in the machine, I always either cash out or start over at bet 5. That happens a lot too even on one of those back and forth machines. One final thing to remember..... what goes up, must come down. If that were not true, there would be no casinos. At least none that offer vp.

One nice royal Olds, what your doing with the clone is to use the deuces hit to even up the higher your bet goes right? The royal coming in is icing on the cake.

Yeah. Could you analyze whether this would be similarly effective in BP?

Thanks alot Olds !! I will let u know . I still know 1 or 2 people that were not thrown out of mohegan . I would like to see them and you .olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 11:14 amThanks. Maybe Foxwoods sometime when Covid gets better. Their protocols aren’t as good as Mohegan i haven’t played there since last winter. They have a new crew of head hanchos at Mohegan. I know the head player develment guy that upgraded me to Soar even though I was short on points last June. If you ever want me to speak to anyone there on reconsideration, just let me know. I can always get his phone number and email for you

Wildman, I really don’t have a plan on switching back and forth on Deuces and JOB. I love deuces, but sometimes, I just can’t force those deuces out and sometimes the quads on JOB are as scarce as getting a wheat cent in change nowdays. So I stick to my rules waiting for a loss of 4 spaces on JOB and a loss of 6 spaces on Deuces before uping my bet. My short example is above. To answer FAA on BP, I don’t know. Mohegan pulled 8/5 job over 10 years ago. I won’t play 7/5 BP. If I was playing it, the penalty on a full house and the flush might do a job on my clone over time. No matter what, it will bust my budget sometimes. The sessions on JOB without quads and scarce full houses will finish me off in a hurry. In Deuces, not hitting quad deuces and scarce wild royals and 5 of a kinds will finish me off as well. One more thing that finishes me off quicker than anything. Discipline!!! I am doing much better with it for 2021. Of course it helps to have a substantial bankroll like Ted always reminds us. Playing with scared money usually means playing with no money at the end of the day.

What is depressing at Bally's?
----------------------------------
Where to begin? Same machines and tables. Same everything. Quite a stale property. Staff is not the least bit energetic or enthused about being there. It rubs off on prospective customers. Same grim, resigned regulars. Not a great clientele. Their best asset is of course location, location, location. It got them this far. I prefer the glitzier and peppier Caesars and Harrah's. Or any other casino in town.

True enough. It certainly is not pleasant. I have been beating the odds this year. But it's like whistling past the graveyard and shorted my max RF. It will every half dozen trips catch up to me on a true bust session. Olds, I had no idea MS had those poor JOB tables; BP is similarly bad. They would drive me to DW too! I feel entitled to a quad or better every half hour at the rate that I have been running. Let the good times roll. Speaking of roll, my craps bets have been on a losing streak of the same length. It's like the employees are saying, "Welcome to your complementary crap out, Sir."

Keep on rolling Olds. Hope the profitable sessions continue though State Taxes in Connecticut are a real bummer.
