Re: The Path II
I swear these casinos have a torture chamber. Oh! That’s right! It’s the chair we sit in in front of our machine sometimes. In many a marathon session over the years, I have been subject to The Rack as well.

Perhaps close quads are part of clustered programming. It happens too often to be coincidental. They love to bunch them. Most players are scared rabbits who decamp after a quad. But I see value in staying for fifteen hands. In yesterday’s case, Q/SF.

FAA, "clustered programming"? If so, then the machines are not random.

Not a knock on Waiting, just looking at the "rigged machines" perspective. I have a question to FAA about "clustered programming": if you think there is such a thing, why don't you up the denomination that you are playing and play at max coin in during these stretches of "clustered programming?"

Maybe a recent coincidental phenomenon. It must occur minimum fifty more times before I join the conspiracy theory camp. Right now, it’s just interesting.

Sad Saturday. I lost my $25 table FP on three craps. I won $20 on $25 dollar JOB and got it to $147. I lost all and left Caesars -$80, despite three quads in seventy five minutes. I never should have left. I had one quad in that span at Harrah’s before busting. I think that this will be my last side trip; much likelier to make bad denomination decisions. Net Day: -$480. 410 TCs.

Three quads in 75 minutes is a Martingale Clone player’s dream. I would definitely have been ahead at that point. While it is impossible to tell what betting level I would have been at, my guess is if I started with 5 quarters, I would have hit at least one of the quads with 8 or 10 bet. Hope you can recover on the next trip.

I realistically expect a three trip recovery timetable. Quads commensurate with hands played. But I indulged a long two buck Harrah’s phase. I saw an early $800 DDB Aces hit, which gives me more faith to emphasize morning play. Four different machines. I left the first after my $75 quad. Sure enough, guy sits down and gets a quick $125 quad. Second took 45 minutes and thus cost me $160. The $31 quarter quad cost me another $30. In hindsight, I should have simply stayed at Caesars, where I better manage BR. More quads isn’t necessarily better. You’re paying plenty for them.
