To the many Trumpets who can't seem to face reality ---- You lost, get over it. And you didn't just lose --- you lost by 7 million votes!

While walking through the neighborhoods of Detroit, I see who the real losers are.

Do you need the $25.00 that badly? Forget about it and move on with your life.billryan wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 3:45 pmIt's so much easier to blame voter fraud, and imaginary green screens than to accept that an overwhelming majority of Americans reject the way you think. Especially when everyone in your circle and everyone on your news outlets march in step with you.
I saw a guy last night for the first time in weeks We had a $25 bet on the election he refused to pay. First it was one thing, then it was wait for the EC, then wait for the Supreme Court. Then it was that the real president was getting sworn in March 4th or 5th. Not only does he believe trump won, but he thinks the armed forces are going to disband Congress and install trump as supreme leader, but not a dictator.

Empathy and compassion in the White House coupled with empathy and compassion in the house and senate only equate to more handouts to those already in the receiving line getting them. This leads to more re-election votes because keep those handouts coming baby! People getting the handouts don't need to be stimulated by child care subsidies because they will not seek employment as they don't need to. They are getting housing credits that pays the rent, medical through medicaid, and any number of other things. There is a BIG difference between people in ACTUAL need because of an event which totally wipes them out and people in fake need because they generationally refuse to get themselves out of the rut known as government handouts.rockinrobin wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 2:28 pmSeemoreroyals, you are not alone. I like Biden and think he is the right man for the job at this time. Empathy and compassion are back in the WH. Competency in the Cabinet is back. Fighting the virus in a competent way. It is very reassuring. Is he perfect, no, no one is, but he is a good man with experience and knowledge and is surrounding himself with people who are qualified for their positions. This whole dementia thing is laughable. It is as if people seem to forget the numerous gaffes, misspeaks and blunders the former guy committed.
The Relief bill that passed will help people directly with stimulus payments and the child tax credit which will give them a monthly payment for each child for 1 year and also child care subsidies which encourage parents to work. Child poverty in the US is one of the highest percentages in the developed world. By moving children out of poverty, we are setting them up for success and a better future for them and the country. The bill also reduces health insurance payments that benefit most people.
Many of the comments here regarding stimulus payments and child tax cuts and how they will be spent seem to have some racist undertones to them. Why is it that when people in need are helped, people assume they will blow the money and not help their families? I hear nobody complaining when the rich are given tax cuts and corporations give huge bonuses and salaries to themselves and pay next to nothing to their employees.
As far as the former guy running again, there isn't a chance he will. He has some serious legal troubles he is currently facing and even more serious ones coming. No one deserves it more than him.
If you are not a business owner now, why don't you start a business and then see how you like getting both your pockets picked clean by local, state, and federal governmental systems. You can then deal with other costs such as business insurance, employee health insurance, and now the COVID-19 compensation. Add to this your competition doing what they need to do to get the work from you and see where your "profits" total up at the end of the year.
I personally am not getting any "stimulus relief" nor did I in the first two go rounds. I would enjoy getting that money and be free to do whatever I wanted with it and I do not begrudge those who are in actual need and will do the right thing with the money but I do get mad at those who will take it and then just go to the liquor store for their booze and lottery. I don't include cigarettes because those are just mooched anyway.
Being a realist I KNOW that the bill will be due at some point for all these "relief" payments and the whatnot. How about you take a look at this bill and see just HOW MUCH other money is in it for bailouts to state and local governments? Some people here do not want to accept the fact that a government needs to be run like a business or a household. YOU CANNOT SPEND MORE THAN YOU TAKE IN. But governments just get around this by raising taxes and not actually shrinking and reducing the costs it takes to run these governments.
The economic costs to this nation that the Biden/Pelosi/Harris/Obama presidency will be responsible for will be huge.

A white mother is twice as likely to die in childhood than our neighbors to the north.
A non-white mother in some places is five time as likely to die than our neighbors.
Most Medicaid programs cover pregnancy and sixty days afterward.
The stimulus bill seeks to correct those wrongs. It also provides child care credits so a parent can return to work.
Amazingly, I listened as republicans condemned these programs, one after another today.
Is there any reason why the US shouldn't lead the world in these categories?

Green, white, black, brown, yellow, purple, makes no difference. I have seen these people brag about the free money and how they are going to blow it. I have even seen some of the new tattoos, pics of the Cancoon trips, and even at the bar at the casino when sone of them were partying with the stimulus money and loading up on 14 dollar drinks. Now they are almost giddy over the next round. I only saw one do anything responsible like going to nursing school while working at the casino and making sure she had proper day care not just a babysitter. By the way, this person is right around 40. The others late teens to early 30s. Nuff said.

Trump added $4 trillion to the deficit in 4 years, not counting covid related relief. I didn't see you complaining about that.
