LONGEST DRY SPELL

    JUST A CURIOUS THOUGHT, THAT I'M SURE WILL GET QUITE A VARIETY OF RESPONSES. I STARTED OFF THE YEAR RIGHT WITH TWO ROYALS AND MANY QUAD'S IN JANUARY "HOWEVER -- AND THERE IS ALWAYS IS AN HOWEVER" FEBRUARY WAS SO -- SO, BUT MARCH IS JUST SAY "OUCH"!WE ALL KNOW GAMBLING IS SHORT WINNING STREAKS FOLLOWED BY SOME TIMES L-O-N-G  L-O-O-S-I-N-G STREAKS.
    S0 JUST FOR CONVERSATION SAKES WHAT IS SOME OF THE LONGEST STREAK OF MISFORTUNE THAT SOME OF YOU HAVE HAD?

But I'm still waiting for my first royal.

I had a royal followed in less than 15 minutes with Quad Aces with a kicker in DDB back in either January or February of this year.  Prior to that, it was on September 23, 2006.  I wish that I could state the number of hands in between those RFs, but I do not keep track.  I don't log as many hands as most of the players here on the forum so it probably wasn't as bad as it sounded.

Try 5 years since the last Royal, other than on AC joker and that really doesn't  count as it only pays 500.

I was down badly at one particular racino then made a bit of a comeback and was actually ahead until I went into a tailspin of 13 losing trips in a row. I only play at two casinos and at one I'm a little ahead over 10 years of play but the other is a different story. I keep going to my losing racino because they are supposed to have the highest payback percentage and I'm expecting a huge comeback any day now.

I've been very fortunate this year....I just picked up my 6th royal in '08 (3 at a quarter and 3 at fifty cents) this past weekend playing a single 50 cent line STP DDB...dealt four and the fifth kicked in.  This was one hand after hitting qauds with a 4 multiplier on the same single line for 1000 credits.  
 
So far a very good year on STP - three hands.  Not only the six royals but also twice getting dealt for deuces on NSUD.   As bad as losing streaks can go, I always figure it could be my last big payout of the year and try to play accordingly (as evidenced by the sindle line play described above).
 
I believe I only had two royals last year so it was many months between and I play once a week on average.
