I don't mean to be critical, but I've had people sit down next to me, put 100 bucks into a VP machine and ask me how do I play this? I don't understand it.

And when they don't, move to another faraway part of the casino so when they inevitably hit a jackpot by making an incorrect play, you won't be any the wiser...Jstark wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 8:43 amI tell them to immediately cash out and go home.Carcounter wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 6:54 amI don't mean to be critical, but I've had people sit down next to me, put 100 bucks into a VP machine and ask me how do I play this? Mmmm....that's what I was sarcastically referring to in my comment on the first page: "Good luck to you in your gambling career."

I've been playing VP for 35 years. Since all payouts other than 4 of a kind were the same I just played standard JOB strategy. No big deal since I was down to 100 and was just trying to stay in the game long enough to suck down some booze. Maybe it was Max Action and I was looking at the "Super" next to the 4oak 600 number on the payout table. Assuming it is still there I will get pictures next time I go-likely 3 months or so.
In the meantime if anyone goes there there are 2 machines on the left-the first in the vp bank-as you head from the slot club to the Dunkin Donuts in back. They both also have that loud 'wheel poker" on them.

Sorry I have to interject. I know lots of people butcher DW strategy, but that can't be a DW game.
Middle line has a JoB payoff. 11x multipliers aren't available for DW. And the theme near bottom of screen appears to include "OR" in the name.

It does appear to be 8/5 Jacks or better. Which means that is actually the correct hold with the multipliers present for the hand.
If it were Deuces, it would only be a minor error in this case. I might be tempted myself with a total of 19X on the board and a dud hand. Of course, we don't know what he threw away from the picture here.
Ultimate X definitely makes me reconsider some things when the big multipliers are up. More than I should, I'm sure.

Thanks. I did watch this same guy toss an ace high straight with a deuce.
Also had a lady pull a 4x royal holding A,10
