I am somewhere around 12 for 14 winning sessions, although some winners might only buy a half tank of gas.
Last royal was June of 2019, but I've had many AWAKs since then.
Currently laying low to see how my mailers turn out after a big coin-in/loss.

I've had 4 or 5 AWAK since the last royal, that's about expected, but none since November. Have had only about 5 Quad Aces without since hitting a AWAK and that seems quite low for the number of hands I rack up.
FAA- I play almost exclusively at Harrah's AC, but only once or twice a month lately since that's how often the 10X promos are offered. once in a great while I will do a 5X...

Damn it, that explains everything. Harrah’s AC, which I have dubbed Horrors, has been a total bust venue each session since my February fluke redraw RF. That entire bank has since been removed. They are now a has been hazard for me. The cozy little Cove is particularly brutal. Money doesn’t even last a decent stretch. I recommend trying next door and putting the whole damn ecosystem in your rear view. Jeter did the same before me and hasn’t looked back.

No can switch to Borgata. They don't offer my choice of poison.

I can't believe that you actually look forward to returning to that viper pit. I'm thrilled that I found the strength to break away from its clutches. I don't even use the pool. Let us know how it works out.

You must understand- we are at almost opposite ends of the spectrum, from a game & strategy standpoint and possibly comp and overall benefit objective. And probably the greatest difference is in philosophy. To me there is no advantage to "break away from the clutches" of the "viper pit" only to find yourself in the dragon's lair...it's not the casino, it's the game.

LOL. How ironic; one man's meat really is another man's poison. There are certainly enough patrons to go around after a decade of consolidations and closings. Borgata seems gentle enough with their machines' optional modes. I keep it simple, as I ignore tough games, card level and I can barely eat through all my comps as it is. I have no desire to chase AWAKs. I still don't get what you get out of Harrah's. Am I overlooking anything obvious that I should covet?

Back in the late 1980s and early 1990s when we would go down to Atlantic City, Harrah’s Marina was usually the only place we would go to. We would almost always take the boat ride and play a combination of video poker and regular slots. Sometimes a little roulette thrown in. I didn’t have my strategy down back then too well. But we liked Harrah’s Marina a lot.
