Absolutely!! There is a small memorial park at my old Grammar school. I was the first graduating class in 1962. Two students who attended that school were lost in 9/11. They graduated about 20 years after me. There are concrete benches and a granite engraved stone at the school to remember them. The American Flag is always proudly flying too. Yes, let us always remember and never forget.

By the way, I was it work in a government building and there were no tvs. Someone had a radio. Within minutes, a heavily armed security force arrived including armored vehicles that surrounded our building adding to the already installed Barricades to prevent a suicide bomber from driving into the building. Everyone remain very calm and of course concerned. After thinking about probable friends, coworkers, and neighbors who might have been in the twin towers that day, my focus shifted to being with family to make preparations not knowing what was coming next. After a while in an orderly fashion employees were sent home accompanied by armed escorts out of the building and to their cars. My 25 minute drive home seemed like three hours and my car a.m. radio stayed tuned in to the events. After making sure everyone at home was fine and we had emergency supplies, I remember splitting my time between my house and my parents for the next several hours it being only a five minute ride to their house. After that I guess we lost track of time but all of us were glued to the television not believing what we were seeing. My biggest fear is an instant replay if not worse may be in our future if our current path in dealing with terrorists is not more firm. A lot more firm. I lost two neighbors that day and relatives of friends of friends who were lost numbered close to two dozen. God Bless America!
