Yes, we are guilty of using “gave back” much too loosely, as it implies a goodwill donation when we are actually trying to shake down the casino even more. I risked that pitfall when I stayed on for ten minutes after a quad last week, just switching games. Fortunately, I hit a $200 quad and all was well with the world.

I am another BPD fan. You are basically frantically racing to the quad every session, so it is stressful. I was unsuccessful today at Borgata and had to switch back to JOB for my quad, thus my losing day there.

FAA I find it somewhat odd that on July 10, 2021 in the Video Poker Strategy forum you started a thread titled: "BPD Flier" and in this thread you stated that you were not a fan of BPD but yet here you state: "I am another BPD fan."

Any thoughts on this?

Recency bias influence; it just worked. I do know full well that it’s a 1.1% EV hit vs. JOB in the casino and even on that very machine. But I panic after early losses and 400 coins is 400 coins. It’s certainly not the EV play. It’s more of a last ditch scramble Hail Mary.

Panic, last ditch scrambles and Hail Mary's are poor decorum for the gambler. More importantly they have no calculable affect on the outcome.

I still think the 99.95% Pickem would be my game of choice at MS. $600 bucks for a quad on dollar play is nice. Boring game though.
