Halloween is over, but the wind caught our ghost at just the right time. He looks real to me. Heeeeeee.

That is a highly unusual sheet snag. It couldn’t be better if it was arranged by hand.

Leaves mostly gone by now, but still a nice view from today’s room at Mohegan Sun. A break even trip. Quad deuces bailout.

Very nice trip on the house. Ton of coin in and comps on them. Owl would approve. No harm, but owl.

Its a hawk FAA common here in upstate Ct. They tend to Soar at eye level with the rooms on the upper floors. Sometimes they dive down to grab a rodent, pigeon, or rabbit. We have Eagles too and Ospreys.

Yes! It must have been the blurring effect. What a majestic treat. AC merely hosts the common seagull nuisance, a poor cousin indeed. If there is a scrap of food to be had, they’ll have it.

These guys are my favorite. Egrets. They either stand motionlessly in the marsh or near the shore waiting for some unfortunate creature to walk or swim by. They are very carnivorous and they’re sharp beaks make formidable weapons to make sure their prey doesn’t get away.
