Sometimes good things come in tiny 3 cent packages.
Love the pics, keep them coming. Sorry about your cologne failure.

If you were a flat bettor at $3.75 per spin, the royal would have paid $1000 or so. Instead, the cologne paid you $120.

My fragrance (mentioned in the other thread) is a knockoff sold at Dollar Tree. It's literally a cologne clone.

Dollar Tree is my absolute favorite of all the dollar stores. Those hits were well into the evening after I found the higher limit machines to be ice cold throughout the casino. I don’t think the clone could have survived with the bankroll I brought with me. So I shut down my normal play on the 99 percent games after taking a substantial beating of about a grand.
Anyway, about 2:30 AM I finally quit and had a late night dinner at the Asian place that stays open until 3AM. Took my time and had a hunch about this game on this machine. It is always busy until the middle of the night. I had put 200 bucks in it and playing the clone my bets had progressed up and were getting high when the five aces hit. That brought me back and my rule is anytime you exceed your high point on a machine, you start over at your bse level which on this nachine is 45 cents. Just a few minutes into that, the Royal hit. I started over again then at some point in the progression hit the quad deuces. I was trying to get from 200 coin in when I started to 400 but it was now morning and I needed sleep and had to go home anyway. Packed it in with the 300 plus you see in the photo. Still a losing session. I should never have started the clone whenI got there on a dollar machine with a 1,000 buck bankroll. That is my biggest mistake right there. I would have needed at least 5 k to survive a cold snap at the dollar level.
I should also note that this machine allows besides a max bet of 3 bucks at the 3 cent level, 5 bucks at the nickel, 10 bucks on dimes, and 20 bucks at the 20 cent level. I have hit this one good before when I had to progress to dimes or 20 cents level, but just ran out of time this trip. Probably should have started with this machine when I first got there, but the place was packed then and I played away from the crowds due to covid concerns. This 3 cent machine is in a very busy part of the casino.

Returning to Caesars with some trepidation after a report that my beloved first floor was shut down. They’re likely converting them to BOSS system; sets in stone drink prices. No more player tip and done. More income, but the waitresses must loathe it. Those pay tables better not change.

Dollar 25 Tree.

I don't do the shopping very often, so was unprepared for what I encountered approaching the storefront. I saw these new signs and immediately centsed something was wrong.

I thought to myself, shouldn't "Everyday" be two words? Extreme Value Every Day.

Sure enough, the pricing was now $1.25. I walked out, but there was a line to check out (as usual), and the cashier was calling for backup.

Here in Nevada we have a regional chain called 99c Only. They transitioned a few years back to offering some items at higher prices ending in 99. Last visit many of the regular items were 1.49.

At year end though, neither of us are ahead. Maybe this year will be an exception.
We can always hope for that, but it is folly to actually expect it. In almost all cases, we are playing a game where the casino has an advantage, and no style of play nor system can overcome it, particularly, if you play a lot.

Devil's advocate, any RNG defect (intentional or otherwise) could be exploitable.

Some of the other stuff I don't understand at all. Playing 96 instead of 99% machines. Quitting when ahead as an AP technique. But olds has me beat by a wide margin for real-world experience.

Also, olds really enjoys the game.

I don't.

His satisfaction comes partly from his distinctive method of play. If he actually did go full AP, Mohegan would probably back him off.

Knew about the 1.25. Expected it. Year end expectations are as close to even as possible. The reason I play 96% games sometimes has to do with bankroll limitations and also with Martingale clone you need maximum flexibility for ups and downs in bet amounts. On the spin poker deluxe you have 20 lines and choices of three five cent $.10 and $.20 play all in the same machine. The reason they pulled the two cent poker years ago that allowed bets of up to 100 times the two cent level was people were killing those machines including myself using variations of the clone. You could only get those machines in the middle of the night and that row was always full. When the casino first opened like 25 years ago the quarter machines allowed bets of up to 80/4 instead of the 25 allowed now on most machines people were killing those as well by increasing their bets until they hit something. If they pull the 25 maximum at Mohegan I won’t be able to play at all except for fun. The Biggest downside using the clone method is almost all sessions end up being marathons
