You’re really selling this graveyard shift, Olds! I’ll have to do one this year to test corroborating your magic! You must have Tombstone pizza in your freezer.

High roller filmed his Chicago pal, mentored by Bob Dancer, at Pechanga. The DW expert burned through $1,500 in twenty minutes flat. No amount of expertise beats a cold machine.

I "Skip"ped through the video, but didn't see any indication that this guy is an AP. He's presented as an expert specializing in NSUD. Fact is, anyone can be an expert simply by adhering to optimal strategy. And in general if you want to gamble with an edge, you can't specialize. You have to adapt to the available opportunities.
During play, Skip changed denoms, explaining that he has a money management system. John narrated his approval. Someone in the comments asked John how it's possible for bet adjustments to increase win rate when the game is random. John's response:
^^^ Word salad ^^^.It’s the “randomness” of the game that makes hitting every hand on the pay table, not only possible, but “probable”. Understanding the probabilities of the pay table, managing your bankroll, and your “risk tolerance” at higher denominations determines your success or failure with the games. Random “luck” is a factor also in the game. Manage your game and bankroll effectively enough and “random luck” will become your friend.

I think John has mentioned both (1) pressing when ahead, and (2) quitting when ahead, so he's probably not trying for logical consistency. His decisions are likely based more on feelings and intuition.

Agree with both posts above. Another problem is Skip was pressing when behind, carelessly at $50 a hand after losing $1,000 on the coldest machine in the casino. That whale got beached in a snap. He's not an AP. Scant opportunity outside of LV. A bad idea to bring in a guest to his channel. He should concentrate on building his brand instead of immediately diluting it with another voice. Yeah, high denom risk tolerance determines success or failure. But the outcome will overwhelmingly be failure. His risk tolerance resulted in $100,000 RF, so he's splurging the gravy with yet more VP and home improvement.
