Just can't seem to win, but I have a theory..
I am a casual player, just recently learned Poker (Video Poker). I am a casual slot player but never seem to actually hit any substantial money. When I say casual I mean I may visit casinos 4-5 times a year, Indian, and Vegas casino's.
My playing habit is visit random slots slide in about $2-$300.00 and hope to hit big (that doesn't happen), so last January I played about $6-$700 in a couple vegas casinos and never hit any substantial pots.
Last night in an indian casino in NY and invested about $300 in video poker (changed to 3 machines over the course) and played for about 2 hours but again never hit any big pots (If I play computer video poker I can usually stay afloat ).
So do I simply need to run a bigger bank roll through to wait out the pots?

Maybe, but there is still no guarantee. Most of the bigger hits happen after anywhere from 5,000-700,000 hands. Even then it could take much longer than that. You of course could hit one in your firsto km
minutes of play, but that is rare.

the reason you can stay afloat on line is because the pay tables are full pay. They are not in the casino, so you'll find a faster drain.

I guess it depends which casino. The problem is short term results can be longer than one’s lifetime. There are still quite a few 99.5 percent return casinos and even 100 or just over with promotions if you time it right. There are just no guarantees unfortunately.
