Also, it's not assured the cologne would work on 99% multiline.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sun Jun 12, 2022 9:41 amUnfortunately, all of the Multiline games I have found at Mohegan Sun have the penalty. Nothing over 99 percent.

It is hit and miss. One really needs good dealt hands on multiline to work well. Boy am I over due on Royals and hand pays. See what happens tonight. If I hit a good one, I will assume it is the luck of LL and sweet C rubbing off on this thread.

I wouldn't say I never play single line, but I much, much prefer 3,5,10 and 50 play, if it's available without the pay scale penalty that some posters have mentioned.Lucky Larry wrote: ↑Sat Jun 11, 2022 7:30 pmYou play more often than we do but I only rarely play single hand. IMO: single hand is as boring as watching paint dry (unless you're hitting)
Well said. We're fortunate to have a Native American Casino Coushatta about 40 minutes away from our normal Golden Nugget in Lake Charles. That was our home for many years until GN opened up 40 minutes closer and with much better amenities. The top VIP requirements are both $1M coin-in/year but its counted in different ways. Coushatta requires 500K each six months, whereas GN is over the year and your tier stays the same for 13 months. The other major difference between the two is that Coushatta has lots of "full pay" VP down to the 1¢ level on 50-100 play machines and GN has at best low 98 and usually 97% return VPwith 96% for lower than 10¢. Oh, and one more killer. At Coushatta, I can play my weekly free play and comp play $ on VP. Neither can be played on VP at GN.
olds,
The hits I posted today are from GNLC:
DWB 10/4/3 97.36%
DW 12/10/4/4/3 97.58%
The best is Bonus 8/5 98% and JOB 8/6 98.4% and DDB 9/5 97.8%
My acknowledgements to Bob but as the old song goes, "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one your with!"

The Scott, Director of Slots at Delta Downs, and I became friends and he suggested I learn to play VP instead of slots. I went out bought some $19 software at Best Buy, started reading some VP books and everything I could get online and trained like an Olympian. I'd come home from school and often play several thousands of hands a night practicing. My third trip back to DD to play VP and I hit my first RF on Aces/Faces. Sweet C and I have been hooked ever since. I mean a $1,000 for a $1.25 bet!!!!!! Wow!!!!
I track our play Since you track your play are u ahead or behind at video poker ??
A couple of interesting stats from the spreadsheet.

Best Year: 2019 - 43 Royals
Next Best: 2015 - 36 Royals
Dealt Royals (any denomination): 20 Royals
Best Dealt Year: 2011 - 4 Dealt Royals

We had one year being of ahead financially. The rest have all been losers overall. I don't calculate the perks/compensations as part of our winnings. We both get money for meals weekly, rooms anytime, and a bundle of free gifts, etc. but I don't count those in my overall winnings like the pro-players. For example, my comp $$ from Golden Nugget can be used as any Fertitta owned/Landry's restaurant in the US or Canada. We have free rooms at any GN location anytime. But I don't count/figure that into my winnings/losses.advantage playe wrote: ↑Wed Jun 15, 2022 3:52 pmLL, since u track your play r u ahead or behind at v poker overall ??
We look at our VP play as entertainment. Just like having season tickets to watch/enjoy my UH college's football/basketball teams. We do use gambling as an asset. For example, we've traveled to watch UH play and stayed at casino's on our out of town travels to games to get a comped room or meals. We''ve traveled over most of the US and major parts of Canada and used casino rooms as our overnight stay for the same reason. We can combine a reasonable (non-weekend) room cost to our budget with the options for a comp by playing. Our last trip to visit family out of state we stayed at an OK casino night #1 on the way up and paid for a room at a comparable local hotel rate - but in a nice new deluxe room. Our play night #1 led us to two comped nights/rooms on the way home.
The other way I joking look at our VP play is that it is an investment/like the stock market and sometimes we get a nice dividend check! BTW: I do own casino stock in my Total US Stock Market mutual fund.
