If playing on a player's terms means full coin full time, okay. Otherwise, I play only full pay machines. Law of Large Numbers: 1,000 TCs is $20,000 coin in for me. Unless a player is truly cursed, something notable will happen in that expansive window. Some have deep pockets, some have holes. You coin in what you can afford.

No. To me, playing on MY terms means not getting sucked into a casino just because of a trinket give-away (i.e. $10.00 gas card and an additional $10.00 gas card for each 25 tier credits earned, up to a maximum of 5 $10.00 gas cards, etc.). MY terms mean playing when I want to play, not when the casino WANTS me to play. I will take advantage of a 5X tier credit multiplier if it fits into MY schedule of when I want to play. I don't like the casino trying to force me to play.FAA wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 6:01 amIf playing on a player's terms means full coin full time, okay. Otherwise, I play only full pay machines. A player need to play full coin in a denomination that they can afford to play full coin in at when there is a bonus for full coin in. I have always suggested this.
As for a player having holes in their pockets, they need to find a way to sew the hole up or not play at all.
Yes, coin in what you can afford. How many times have I said that if a player is playing with a limited bankroll, they should save up until they have a bankroll sufficient enough to weather the storm?
If a person gets an itch to gamble and they do not have a sufficient bankroll, they should get a good anti-itch cream to tide them over until they have a sufficient bankroll that can tide them over.

I hate being told when to play also. Obviously, the CET marketing strategy was to suck in a throng on an absolutely dead last weekend in February. Hence, a four day 5X fiesta. I could comfortably attend, coined in over $3,000 and left a winner. Borgata gets me in with trinkets, but I grab and go. Their swag is conveniently right by the entrance. Resorts is Trinkets HQ, too many to even monitor. I ignore them. I dropped in for lunch. Inevitably, I hit the machine and was pleasantly surprised they offered $10 FP based on my light visit, playable only Friday and Saturday. I'd already swiped in at the kiosk, a really dumb move when I should have been accruing at Caesars. But I played and won. Their FP offers will probably draw me back when already in town. Tropicana is another trinket master. Hate the VP, never had luck there and will not return. Max coin, I have consistency problems. You either commit to massive coin in going in or grin and bear the consequences.

On the surface that CET 5X tier credit match looked enticing but if the small print was read, a player would have seen that there were cap limits. Sure the BIG BOLD 5X TIER CREDIT MATCH looked great but the small print held the rest of the story.

I have no idea about that detail. In any case, cap limits are irrelevant for guppies. So ignorance is bliss on this count. I am, however, concerned about a comment a neighbor Seven Stars made after his RF. He said that sometimes he doesn't get 5X because the VP machines are not eligible for it. I checked with an executive I ran into at the kiosks later. He basically said, it depends. Check the machines. I reswiped to confirm I was set. It said that I already participated in the promo earlier in the day. I couldn't find any disclaimers on them. They were very good about saying that the credit accrual is slower on the full pays. Now, they don't even do that. So I guess I'm in limbo. Not very confident.

I think the last nationwide TC multiplier was the December 5x. That was capped at 5000 base for a total of 25,000.
The Joliet 5x this past weekend had the same limit.
The Laughlin 10x next month allows 4000 base for a total of 40,000.
Some properties run mystery RC multipliers, and those are often limited by total. As an example, I've seen 30,000. So if you spin a 3x, you can play 10,000 base. But if you get lucky and catch a 100x, you're only allowed 300 base.
Possible, but unusual. You could try obtaining the rule sheet, but it may not answer the question. If it has a generic "some machines excluded," then it becomes a guessing game.

True.
Which means that it wasn't a true 5X multiplier. If a player earned the maximum of 5,000 tier credits they would only then be awarded an additional 20,000 tier credits for an aggregate total of 25,000. And, the tier credit bonus was not eligible for reward credits. Reward credits would only be earned on whatever tier credits were "earned" by the player.

There's room for improvement. Promo rules should be more available, and activity tracking needs an upgrade imo. If I earn one of the standard single-day TC bonuses, they send an email -- which is good. But other earnings (e.g., multiplier credits) just show up explained.
I roll along anyway because I think Caesars Rewards has some of the best tier benefits. Some other programs upon careful examination don't offer anything of significant value.

100% agree. This is why I am loyal to CET more than any other.dinghy wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 9:32 amThere's room for improvement. Many years ago during an economic downturn I was less than 1,000 tier credits from diamond at the end of the year. I was awarded diamond anyway through an action taken by their CEO, he sent out an email to me (and those others who were close to diamond as I was) saying that in these tight economic times he realized that we may not have been able to play as much as normal and we should be able to keep our diamond status for the next year.
I have already earned basic diamond for next year and once I get to "Diamond Plus" I'll back off and spend a bit more time at some other local casinos. As I have mentioned before; Diamond Elite just does not do enough for me to go after it. I do not gamble online so the additional monthly wagering bonus doesn't interest me and the only other bonus that does is the $600.00 airfare credit. But when you weigh the $600.00 credit against the additional 50,000 needed tier credits it just doesn't add up. Unless of course, I take FULL advantage of the tier credit multiplier days to nab the additional tier credits.

FWIW, our tier credit total at present is a little over 62,400 which includes 41,000 in tier credit bonuses.
