No Bizarro for awhile. Covid finally got me. I had been nursing a bad head cold for 3 weeks. Guess it wore me down. Also, I had been a bit lax in wearing a mask at the casino. It hit me like a ton of bricks Thursday night at Mohegan. Usually I play all night, but I checked in and crashed about 1AM. Tossed and turned till late morning then drove home. I immediately went to my dad’s house ( family owned now) only 3 miles from mine so as to hopefully not contaminate the Mrs. Took a rapid test sure enough positive. By then, Dr was closed for the weekend so I toughed it out till virtual Dr appt today. Luckily, about 60 percent better today Have some meds and directions I have to follow. Self isolate 2 more days then at least 5 more mask only. I’m no Dr, but am well read on Med stuff so I pretty much knew what to do and not do. Of course needed the Dr for prescriptions. The Mrs has dropped off on the porch stuff I need. She’s testing daily as well. I think in general, everyone let their guard down too soon including me. Hoping to be back to semi normal in another 10 days or so.

Sorry to hear you came down with Covid. Glad you are doing better. I had Covid a year ago January. Thankfully wasn't bad. At our age, we need a good immune system. I take a couple of supplements daily which are supposed to bolster one's immunity. Hopefully, Mrs OLds is ok.

I borrowed this from my Cartoons thread. Me last Friday. If I still had my Kitty named Little One from the 1990s, she would hop up on my chest, stay there, and I would be perfect in 24 hours. She saved me from being admitted 30 years ago. ( acute bronchitis). Animals have amazing healing powers. Quoting you know who….I’ll be back!…..In the meantime, head up to Bizarro World. I left all of the VP machines full and ready to pop! Hope AP heard that.
