Just left Bizzarest West With the lead score in a slot Tournament. $10,000 first place. Lots of sessions left though.
We're off topic already, so did you post an update on this?
5th place. Last cash prize. $1000. No complaints worth the drive.
To bail out of my other diversion. Thanks for info. on online casinos. Olds got my discipline admission.
If I divert again I will self report. :ouch:

That's a nice consolation, and I assume you prefer cash to slot play.

Definitely.
First three weeks of forced slot play: 55-60% of FP harvested.
Don't know how regular slotees do it.
Could vulturing be an answer?
Nah. Way too complicated for this old dog. "Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most."

Those are outlier returns unless you're either betting $25 a spin, or unnecessarily playing the money through more than 1x.

Slots are the #1 category in the casino, so there's plenty of info available. Some of it is wrong, but in most cases that's apparent if you understand basic principles. If you want to vulture, search for "advantage" slots.

If you want low volatility, there are discussions all over the place on the subject. Just for example, there's an IGT game called Lucky Lines that guarantees at least one winning combination per spin with all 20 lines played. On the video I watched, the worst possible spin result was 25c on a $1 bet.

I don’t know a thing about slots or care to really. When I go to the casino with the Mrs, she usually on a bad Vp session, allocates 5 minutes to a quarter Stinking Rich game. I have seen her pull a hundred out of it several times in the bonus round. Anyone know much about that gane or the average payback percentage?

It's an IGT video slot with two bonus features afaik. One awards credits, the other free spins. There's no "accumulation" -- so it can't be vultured. There's also at least one sequel that's somewhat different.

Paybacks %s are usually available in a wide range. Here's an example of how they manipulate the paybacks:

Image

The game is Lobstermania.

The 85% version is overloaded with the lowest paying symbols: clams and starfish, especially toward the left which is critical because the pays are left to right. The 96% is more generous on the good symbols. If you had this information, you could figure out the payback by tabulating a few dozen or so spins. But the info is generally not available.
