Notice she almost caught all 3 Royals. All 3 hands dealt her a King of Diamonds.

Nice going Mrs Olds. My prediction about a Royal identified the wrong member of the family. Hoping yours come soon.

Multiplier made it palatable, even though it was the lowest one possible!

Thanks. I showed the Mrs. For me, 189,500 hands and counting.
. The only good news for me if you can even call it that is unless more hand pays appear, I may actually be able to take the standard deduction next year instead of itemizing and losing out 3-4k every year due to that. Saving 7 percent too of jackpots the State won’t get as there is no writeoff ability there. I lose out on the Fed side due to the 10,000 cap on state and local tax deductions. The standard deduction for a senior couple has become quite high. I could never reach that level without the gross gambling winnings and the corresponding write-off on sch A. LL will know what I am talking about on the tax stuff.

I know what you mean regarding couples. Able to do it the year my wife passed. The next year and onward I had to itemize. Got killed tax-wise filing as single. Though I have stayed away from casinos, and hand pays are not an issue, in AZ state taxes allow you to take off gambling losses. Olds, it sounds like a big jackpot may cost you more than small ones beneath the tax threshold.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 9:48 amThanks. Congrats to Mrs Olds. As I’ve said I feel your pain, I remain in my long streak without a Royal, but Mrs Hiker remains strong, she had #6 in approx 110,000 hands, all single hand, mostly DDB and SDDB, on Friday as well. I’ve given up trying to figure out how to post pics on this site, but she set herself nicely on our trip with her very first hand being 4 6s in DDB. May the Royals come to you in similar bunches soon.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 5:43 pmComing later tonight or tomorrow. . Another Mrs bailout to save my follies.
