I see a lot of different setups in the wide world of sports. Example, South Point is one of the few properties with abundant triple play 9/6 Jacks. But while some banks are 15-coin max, others are 30. Max bet is mandatory to get the 800-for-1 royal pay.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2023 6:30 pmI have tried some other triple play ... and none of them will let you bet 2 per line etc.
Not sure about how the individual coins are distributed. Usually it used to go 1-0-0, then 1-1-0, then 1-1-1, then 2-1-1, etc.
That's odd. 3 lines should be (slightly) less streaky because all draw cards are pulled from the same deck and the paylines don't intersect. But any number of lines >3 would be more streaky, so probably a streakier format for most players. For some reason, I find spin poker more streaky than triple play when playing 3 lines. I know the EV is the same, but the variance on spin poker must be higher as almost always spin poker paytables are higher than multi line play.
I don't know whether it's true that spin poker paytables are generally higher, but if so I'd be interested to know the reason. Commonly, I think operators will set a simple guideline such as a maximum payback. For example, the tech may be instructed to pick the highest available paytables under 99%. And then maybe the lower denoms will be 98 or 97, or 96. That's why sometimes when changing denoms, particular themes will come and go because they may not have an offering within the desired range.
Maybe spin poker paybacks are somehow presented differently on the tech setup screen.
