Re: The demise of Video Poker
IRL casino is quite the vibe. Seeing jackpots being hit and playing bridesmaid. Tolerating button slammers, smokers, broken and sticky buttons, slow as turtles waitresses, creepy stalker patrons hovering over my shoulder and obnoxious NYers in AC. I know that it would end badly if I were to gamble online. No amount of promotional inducement would be enough.

I'm definitely odd man out here. If I could accomplish the same thing at home, it wouldn't even cross my mind to go into a b&m.
But for the foreseeable future, differences will remain. Ideally I would play the best online promos at home, and also go in for the good plays that are b&m-only.
Sports is different. The online product is basically the same as b&m, usually.

Actually I like to use the online platform to practice patience and discipline. I do keep a journal for every bet Also limiting myself to a certain number of deals per session. It’s a great way to actually see the flow of your game without the distractions.

Yeah, but how do you know if the online casino is legit and if the numbers on your credit card are not being shipped to Nigeria?

Huh? M and I have been beating up on online sports promos in Illinois to the tune of low 5 digits the past few years. Can't do any of that in B&M sportsbooks.dinghy wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 6:48 pmI'm definitely odd man out here. Sorry, that was a bad combination of ignorance and sloppy writing. I don't know much about B&M sportsbook conditions outside Nevada. In theory it's possible the B&Ms could offer better lines or promos than online, but you're indicating they don't do so in actual practice. Therefore, you can get all your sports edge online, and never need to go into a B&M for sports. Did I get that right?
Nevada's different. We don't have the easy promo opportunities in our mobile apps.

Maybe catch you late Thursday eve or early Wednesday afternoon AP. My new game ( practicing on nickels ) is 98.44 Multi Strike Joker Kings using Martingale of course. So far so good. Details in Bizarro world thread.
