Back home late afternoon. At first I did fine on the Nickel Joker Kings Multi Strike using the Clone and waiting for a loss of 20 times my bet level before advancing up one unit ( nickel ) for each of the 4 lines. My 20 free play became 70. I switched to quarter play ( same machine and game ) and the 70 bucks became 350 after getting some nice hits on the 3rd and 4 th lines.
Now the bad part…….I cashed out the 350….OK that’s good, but then proceeded to play dollar 9/6 Job. Only one quad hit in 3 hours. Lost the 350 and 400 more. Discipline failure on my self instructed hit and run policy.

I don't see moving to dollar FP JoB as the failure. The discipline failure was the additional 400 lost. Why not go back to square one and see if you could repeat your earlier success? Easy to say, but I would have limited it to $200 (of the 350) then backed down to quarters.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Actually, I did try that for over an hour back to nickel play. Treaded water for over an hour plus or minus 20 bucks. As happens sometimes, I got bored and took a shot. Normally, I wouldn’t play that much more, but justified it with faulty logic based on how well the market has done the last few weeks.
I also used another faulty type of logic which is it has been a long time since I have had a hand pay!!! That’s a really bad one to use.

Misery loves company. My own absurd outing is a bit easier to digest after learning of a grizzled veteran’s precipitous plunge. We must limit ourselves to an hour of dollar play. That’s a -$250. Accept it and get the hell out. A hundred quad free dollar minutes killed me!

Just pulled into Bizarro. The Mrs and I will probably come up Thursday. Needed a break. Mini disaster today could have been a bad one. We got nearly 6 inches of rain in a short time and it filled up the water table. Have a newer sump pump, but it failed overnight. Woke up to 2-3 inches of water in the basement. Luckily no major damage. Went and got and installed a new pump and it pumped out the water, but the water table is so high now the pump runs about every 10 minutes. Yikes!! Anyway in 1-3 days hopefully it will quit coming in. This is the same storm that killed people and injured more in Tennessee. Just need to wind down and get a quick bite to eat and hopefully chill for awhile with a little VP!! All in all counting our blessings.

Find a high pay table, pump out a royal or two and count your money. More fun.

Up, down, and out…..damage control kicked in. I did stumble onto some good news. My formerly favorite pre Covid machine has been re programed to its pre Covid settings, is back to paying the correct amount for the Royal for a single dollar bet with just about a 99 percent pay table for the game I play. It remained mostly unplayed the last 3 years. I hate to use the word morons, but the bean counters had changed it to where a bet of 15 bucks was needed to get paid the correct Royal amount. I had complained both verbally and in writing even advised them to review and see how much money I had left at the casino on this machine before they changed it and maybe take a look at its daily take as well from other patrons both pre and post Covid reopening. Anyway for now, it’s back. For how long, who knows. I had a nice hit on it after 5 minutes catching deuces for 200 bucks, but pushed it and ended up down 400. The bean counters should be happy about that.
