Starting off 2024 with my biggest VP jackpot ever!

I decided to try and see if I had any New Year's luck today. Started off with some 25c 5-play STP, got dealt 4 to a royal, managed to land one for a grand. Continued to play STP for a while and got my balance up to around $1,350, at which point I really wanted to cash out and play some slots I was interested in. I decided I'd cash out at $900, so I switched over to $1 TDB Spin Poker so it (well, I figured) wouldn't take long to bring the credits down several hundred.

Anyway, maybe a dozen hands into Spin Poker I was dealt AAXA4. I held the aces and kicker, crossed my fingers that I'd get that Ace of Hearts right in the middle, pressed the deal button..........

BAM! My biggest handpay ever! While waiting for said handpay, I switched over to $1 Super Aces since I still had $1100 in the machine. I kid you not, not even 5 minutes later I was dealt XAAAX. Held the aces, hit the deal button........

Absolutely nuts lol. Got the money safely into my bank account, went back to the casino to cash out the $800 ticket I still had, and managed to win another few thousand with awesome line hits on slots and such (no handpays). All in all my best gambling day ever!

Just curious , you mentioned how you safelty got the money into your account; did you have them pay you in checks or wire transfer? I've never ever had a payoff so large so I'm pretty clueless how that all works. But I do enjoy stories of winning! I almost said "stories" of the casino LOSING but that's probably not the best attitude.

I probably should've asked for a check but my mind was blown after getting my best and third best VP handpays five minutes apart. Anyway I was called back to a small room adjacent to the cashier's cage for the cash count out for much better privacy. I was also offered an escort on my way out the door to the bank. The casino was fairly empty though so I didn't take an escort. I kept my head on a swivel and had no security problems.

Wow this is an amazing experience even reading about it after the fact and not knowing you! If you're comfortable telling where this happened I'm just curious. Depending on how far you had to go to get to your bank to deposit it all I'd still be extremely nervous. I don't play at this level or the games you selected so it won't happen to me, but if I did get more than 5 grand (after tax) I'd opt for a check or electronic transfer if possible. But I am happy for you and enjoy the story!
