Even though I'm down here and will be riding right past Ford Field tomorrow, we ALWAYS root AGAINST the Lions. It's more entertaining watching them fail or blow a game in the last few minutes.

Detroit can sure use some excitement and not the usual kind. Trivia question. Prior to 1934, the Detroit Lions had a different name. What was it?? I was only 7 or 8 at the time, but I remember listening some great plays by return specialist Jack Christiansen on the radio in the 1950s. He went on to be a Coach for years afterward. We always followed what was going on in Detroit back then waiting to see the newest Jet age styled cars coming out of Detroit.

Congrats to all your Lions fans, they are now 1 single victory away from the first super bowl in Detroit Lion History. I think there was one other time when they were this close, back when Barry Sanders played running back for the lions. I saw it in the Barry Sanders video "Bye Bye Barry" that is on Amazon.

I am rooting for the Lions over the San Franciscan 49ers!
