My last 3 royals have all been spades. Indeed, most of my lifetime royals have also been in spades. Not counting Dream Card or some kind of low-stake 10 play, I've never had one in clubs or diamonds.

Anyhow, 2023 wrapped up with 2 royals a week apart. I didn't play at all for most of Oct/Nov/Dec. The New Year is off too a sporty start.
