Re: Bizarro World 2024!
Must get back to AC, despite recent ordeals. I’m getting the fever again.

The hardest part is figuring when the light switch is off, but I am getting better at it. It is probably all part of randomness, but some machines just never turn around no matter how long you play them in a given day. I am moving around more. From one part of the casino to another. Change games and change machines. It appears to be working. My days of sitting at the same machine for 10 hours are over. One other thing If you see lengthy dud cycles, run.

I been talking with another player and we both been hitting the max button or dropping the coins in 1 at a time to change the dead hand cycle. We both agree it seems to break the RNG dead cycle more then not. As far as moving, I been doing that for many years. I make a circle around the casino every trip over and over.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2024 9:56 pmI am moving around more. From one part of the casino to another. Isn’t that funny. More often than not, if I am almost out of credits and I hit the max button, more often than not it will give me something, but it doesn’t last. I could play every vp machine in the casino by walking up to it, playing one coin, cashing out, and going to the next one….. At the end of the day, I would be ahead. I know sounds like Bizarro, but I’ve done it

So, I guess you should play that way all the time, and never lose.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 8:16 amI could play every vp machine in the casino by walking up to it, playing one coin, cashing out, and going to the next one….. In my humble (and, perhaps, unpopular) opinion, none of this stuff (changing machines, hitting different buttons, praying to the VP gods, etc.) has one iota of effect (positive or negative) on your results. I do agree, however, that getting up and walking around a bit is good for the legs.
I tend to sit down at a machine and play until I'm ready for a meal, washroom break, or a nap. And, I would say that, over the years, I've seen it all - great sessions that suddenly go completely south, sessions that start out as brutally awful, and miraculously turn around, and everything in between. That's just the nature of the game, and we have to live with it.

I know it’s crazy and could very well be the nature of randomness as I’ve mentioned. It just drives one nuts. Actually, years ago at Foxwoods, I did play “ that way “ Security stopped me and accused me of looking for coins left in the machine and cashing out. I and not in a calm voice said go ahead review the GD cameras and another suit showed up. It got pretty heated and I think i almost got banned.Of course, they just said
look don’t do it again and walked away. I 4 letter worded them under my breath for an hour or so and. Split for Mohegan. Haven’t been to Foxwoods in over 4 years now. Of course they can ban you on a whim if they want to. Their loss and Mohegans gain.

Is anyone going to the casino tomorrow Super Bowl Sunday? Somehow, when I reserved my room months ago it must have slipped through the cracks. Otherwise I would never get it. I plan to hit the road about 2 and hopefully avoid the pre game drunks on the road and of course be totally off the road after the game. This year Ct has a big increase in wrong way drivers. I attribute this to drivers both being drunk and high on weed or other stuff. Actually we have a lot of crazy drivers period the last couple of years. The nut jobs are usually pretty easy to pick out before they get to you or you get to then. I may catch some flack for this list, but I have a lot of experience in watching them in action. Pickup Trucks especially the ones that are jacked up or the really beat up ones. Cars with very dark black out windows. Could be many types. Tricked out Honda Civics with loud exhaust, weird stripes or paint. BMWs of all types. The hotter versions of VWs. ( not beetles ). Sometimes the hemi Chargers or Mustang Gts though sometimes they are fairly careful and don’t weave in and out that much.
