Re: Bizarro World 2024!
I don't intend to watch the game. My local casino will probably be jammed with the machines I like to play at the two bars, the majority occupied by folks watching the game, drinking, and not playing. Not worth the hassle even though the casino is 7 minutes from my house via low traffic streets. Olds, Wildman, wishing you safe trips and good luck.

Thanks OTA. I will probably get there about 3:30. Have a quick bite to eat, maybe a power walk in the casino unless it’s packed, and watch the game. Most likely no VP till overnight when the drunks fall asleep, go upstairs, or God forbid hit the roads to drive home. Trying to stay out of the close contact crowds as much as possible. Covid still hitting hard around here. I stay out of the arena. My brother and his wife go often for the basketball games and most recently the Bowzer Show and both just came down with Covid for the second time. Doing ok so far. I think I mentioned in some posts I got it again in early January. Just now are the joint pains fading where I feel I may be able to power walk and exercise a bit. We had planned to come up for Valentine’s Day, but the snowstorm hitting Tuesday may nix that.

You're obviously very disciplined. I'd become a Gamblers Anonymous member in short order.

One nice hit and some smaller ones so far. Lots of dud streaks though so I’m just about even. Will try again after the game.

Fantastic job breaking even and piling up points. It's really a lesson to lay low, stay within yourself, keep your powder dry, wait out the cold. You can break even slow or bust fast.

I played a very long session close to 12 hours a little too long actually but it was very good overall, I stuck to my guns with the martingale clone playing bonus as wild and finally hit four deuces. No pictures unfortunately because my phone was on low battery, and my charger was in the car. The same machine also hit five aces which pays 80 for one five times which is extremely unusual
This morning before I left, I decided to get my wife a few status points so I played 96 Jax or better with her card. I’ve been playing video poker about 40+ years and I have never seen a streak like this. In less than than 40 minutes the same machine Gave her seven quads. Two of them were back to back and then a straight flush appeared three hands later. Pretty incredible. I was able to cash out a couple of hundred bucks for her.

The JOB was incredible. I'm usually gone after a quad, since I'm basically just sticking around for the give back. Such an amazing session, capped off by the SF. Who's doing that in under forty minutes?

I forgot to mention. All of the Marathon play was on one “ my machine “ dollar Spin poker 98.8 Bonus Deuces Wild machine. Very simple Martingale Clone progression. Bet 3 lines at one per line until 20 times your bet has been lost. ( 60 bucks ). Then I bet 2 per line or 6 bucks following the same rules. Any time you exceed your sequence, you drop back to the prior level. This has worked fine for several sessions now. Quick chart below with 1,000 bucks starting money. All recent sessions were positive and this machine hasn’t hit a Royal yet.
940 credits - 1000 . Play 3 lines at one per line.
820—940. Play 3 lines at 2 per line
700-820. 3. 3
460-700. 4. 4
And so forth. As soon as this fails and I Suspect it will eventually, I will let the gang know. This machine cuts off at 15 better line. I won’t be betting that high. I will eat the 1,000 loss
