Road to Ruin

Post by videos00 »

I promised myself I was gonna bet small and remain in control. And for awhile I did. From the time I entered the casino it was nearly 6 hours till I placed my first bet.

I opened up with the $1, $2, $5 VP and managed some decent gains. Went over to craps and won some more. Its about 1am now " Ok, throw a few Bucks at the $5 VP machine then off to bed"

Started up, then lost some, lost some more .......

By 1pm the next afternoon I am feeding 5 bills into the $100 vp machine for each pull ,

(thats right a handpay for Three-of-a-kind)

Finally broke away, got some food, showered/napped and was ready for action again.

This session I open up with craps and drop a few bucks. Go to $25 Triple lucky sevens and drop a few more.

Back to $5 VP..... damn this aint working out.

Start wandering, and finally come upon a machine I have never played before. It is a $5/$10

multi-game with one of the games being

"Shockwave Poker"

Basically its a modified JOB where Two pair pays 1 for 1. The bonus is that if you get a 4OAK you go into "Shockwave" mode for up 10 hands. During these next ten hands a 4OAK pays as much as a royal flush.

I start at the $5 level and grind it out with $500 for long while. Once the credit meter hits zero I reload and remain at $5. Halfway through these credits I switch over to the $10 game b/c I am beyond frustrated at this point.

From out of nowhere An ordinary XXXJK draws 3 more jacks and of course the machine locks up for the $1250 handpay.

After collecting the screen changes colors and some odd music starts, now I am in "Shockwave Mode"

First hand was a blank.

Second hand started XXAAX ... and I'm thinking "Ok, at least I will keep the 5 credits."

I hit draw , the other two Aces drop, and the machine locks up for the 2nd time in three hands

Its not $1250 though, this time it is the equiv. of a $10 full-coin royal.

Took a bit longer b/c a supervisor is required.

Took payment as a Check, tip for the guards, and I'm out. Did not make another wager.
