Glad the royal-less streak is over, and you are continuing to come out ahead.olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 11:28 amThanks Ted
. I bet you un jinxed it for me by reading how many hands were missing a Royal. I know CBK probably had some four leaf clovers floating around. FAA actually helped keep my discipline failures to a minimum this trip too. Thanks for anyone I missed especially OTA out west.

Test to see if I figured out how to post a quote. Looks like it worked. Assuming things are ok, next trip is a planned solo trip this coming Sunday evening. No need to change the game plan with the possible exception of how long to wait before upping the number of lines bet. If you wait too long, when something hits other than a Royal, it won’t cut enough into losses you already have. If you don’t wait long enough, you risk a bankroll bust. The waiting period is longer for upping an amount bet per line than just upping by adding an extra line.

$250 is a great out the door prize! More than a BP quad deuces. It’s certainly been incredibly hard for me to extract a quality hit in the first hour for me. My best strategy is to minimize the L and hope to tread water.

My goal for 2024 is to tread water until something good comes along, or if I run out of time or energy, to have a minimal loss. No bankroll busts allowed. Hopefully, not easier said than done.

I can’t deal with any more busts. The big emotional early hunger to hit and run always backfires. I just leave miserable. Must give myself a chance to see the the landscape and what develops. Anybody hit a jackpot? Even that isn’t a green light. I waited an hour for a $400 hit after seeing a $1,300 hit, concluding it was nirvana.

Friday morning just before we left an elderly ( older than me ) couple sat down at the
8/5 JOB game placed as bait next to me. He had a Walker and it took them 5 minutes just to get seated. I helped a bit without infringing their efforts. Anyway, I had to help them on how to load the cash, pick the game, pick their bet amount etc. They both said 3 bucks a hand and they didn’t seem to care about pay tables etc. Less than one minute into their play, They hit a JOB Royal for 2400 bucks on a 50 cent game. The prior 10 hours or so Thursday evening and Friday morning, players played and left. Nobody hit anything higher than a FH!!!! Good for the couple, but just another example of why I say I play at Bizarro World.
