Palace Station-Vegas
I have a trip planned for April 2024 to Palace Station in LV. I like Red Rock for VP but changing it up this time. Any thoughts/tips for staying at PS? Good VP, restaurants etc...TIA.

I don't find much variation from one Station casino to another. You get the 99.8% machines, and the 8/5 Bonus progressives at the bars. Or the 100% machines if you don't like points
I haven't tried the restaurants. The Oyster Bar seems popular.
Good luck!

I would head to the new Durango Station, 215/Durango exit. I live close to there and have had some success in VP. Good luck.

Just adding in that a recent stay at the Palace Station was very enjoyable, particularly from a VP perspective. Lots of machines, friendly employees, and overall, the play seemed “fair”. Actually had a couple of good days on a 4 day trip. As a former Boyd loyalist, that hasn’t happened in ages.
All the food was pretty good, the 24 hr cafe and sports bar included. I found the PS to be a nice little respite, surrounded by all the Strip chaos. And downtown just a short drive away.
Hope you have a great trip…

That’s cool. It’s harder than we think to find a “fair” casino. We get so used to busting in a couple of hours and leaving in a daze.

Full pay video poker is slowly going the way of the dinosaurs. the only casinos to have in any quantity are the station casinos and even their new durango station has no 100% machines. it has gotten to the point where its not worth going to vegas anymore.

Sometimes your local casinos may be a better option, considering ease of access to play the best promotions and redeem whatever offers they send. If you can extract 1%+ from the slot club on a 99% game, that's just as good as a 100% game earning no points.Guest649860 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 4:08 pmit has gotten to the point where its not worth going to vegas anymore.
Some of the online casinos (in legalized states) are close to 100% on their vp games.

AC has plenty of full pays. No plane ticket for FAA.
