Well, our two night stay produced some good news and, unfortunately, some bad news ,as well.

The good news is that "we" came away $4500 winners. I put the we in quotation marks because I was actually down a bit, while my wife was up about $4600. Playing $1 single line 8/5 bonus poker she had a royal, and, again playing single line, this time deuces wild (98.91% version) she hit the deuces.

Now, the bad news. We were playing single line dollars because the game we have played there almost exclusively over the past many, many years (8/5 bonus poker, 50c denomination, 5 line) was not there! It was available on only four older style machines that have just been removed.

I am not sure just how much play, if any, we will give them in the future.

Congratulations. That is not too bothersome to me. I prefer single line dollar. But with that, I’d go two lines a spin for the same $5 total wager.

Back home again. My 39 buck free pizza maker cost me 700 bucks. All my doing of course. Even a Royal couldn’t save me this trip. Switched from Nickels to quarters to dollars. Only the nickels hit. I’ve stopped counting the losing trips . The Mrs hasn’t though. . Just as an aside, 5 feet from where I was playing today a YouTuber called “Mr Hand Pay “and family were filming their action. I never heard of him before today. His videos are all over the internet.

You could have put the seven hundred down as a deposit on a home brick oven.

Things are definitely getting better though: only two cringe faces.

A new Benz every 2 years for me. Thats if I wanted one. Waiting for a style change on my Elantra. I will never get another new car that has never been to the dealer for anything!! 116k. 2019. Knock on wood. Only oil changes and one set of plugs that I did myself so far. Like you unfortunately I am getting increasingly frustrated with at most one in 10 trips a winning one. That would be the ideal ban for me as well. I still want to go. But not go broke. The next step is to take $200 with me and leave all plastic home. Likely uneventful, but a guaranteed stop loss.

Heeeeee. TT post . I remember years ago we were talking about the locking wallet. That’s not for me. I thought about the ATM card, but in emergencies . My bank is only a 10 minute ride from the casino. . Two more frown faces. . Whoops now 3. Have free rooms already reserved Sun-Tues. Solo Sun. With Mrs Tues. she is a good bank warden. Also a good loan officer!! By the way, Congrats Mr and Mrs OMT. Bummer on machine removal though. One resolution I will keep….no pie in the sky stock purchases this year. Things are too Rocky. I don’t want a double whammy from both VP and the Market!!

I can’t get quarter 800 for Bet one 9/6 JOB at Mohegan, but I can get dollar 800 for bet one 9/5. If I can force myself to do it Sun Eve, I could bet one till I lose 25 times my bet before betting 2 bucks. No guarantee of a win, but it will eliminate a chance of a 1,000 bankroll bust. Of course if a Royal comes my way ( unlikely ) it would be an up session for sure. If I bust again, it will wipe out all my market gains for 2024 ( what’s left of them. ). If the market doesn’t do it on its own first. I’ve already been taken down from plus 9 percent to plus 5. ( non IRA ) regular trading account. That usually funds my VP play, but 2024 is not looking good.
