On Tilt - Thank you Encore, Boston

Well, I was debating on throwing good money after bad following my sour debut at Encore Boston last Wednesday. The debate ended and I headed to Harrah's, Joliet, early this morning to try and get some come-uppance. I started out by dipping a toe into $2.00 denom ACJP. After getting up a grand and almost leaving, I decided to head to my favorite machines inside the video poker cove. This was after seeing another player, at $5.00 denom, hit an amazing $31,000.00 handpay.

After settling into the comfort(?) of my machine, I was up, down, up, down, down, down. Getting almost ready to leave, I was dealt 3 to the royal, and bam! After getting paid, I tossed a couple hundred back into the machine and decided to stretch my legs and try a different machine. After seeding, I got a tingle and bam! Hit 5 OAK. A Dream Card machine opened up and while waiting to get paid from the 5OAK, I sat at the Dream Card. A few minutes in, Bam! Dealt 4 aces, said thank you under my breath, and hit deal. Caught 3 kickers. Hit a couple other ACJP straight flushes along the way but no pics of them.

Earned 6,000 tier credits, had the same White Sox promotion going today for tier credit match so it is a minimum of 2X and it goes to 4X if they win. Earned an additional 10k tier credits anyway, would like to see the White Sox win just the same though.

Thanks doris and olds. Catching the royal on the bottom line was nice and when I looked at the entire screen was a complete surprise when I saw the second royal in the upper right corner.

Lol, the only times I have rooted for the White Sox was when there was a tier credit multiplier this month. And, the BoSox are playing the Cubs this weekend and crushed them yesterday.

That one may be the most unlikely of all. The dbl royal is amazing though. Serious wagering pays. Kudos.
