Nice Olds. Loved those 50s cars. They had personality.

You are right about that OTA. My first car was a 1953 Chevy ( not particularly stylish ). That had been painted with leftover blue house paint from a neighbor. It was 20 bucks. It smoked like a chimney, but shifted as smooth as silk, had a great clutch, and the engine though worn out ran smooth. It got me to my career job interview with 2 flats on the way and it got me to my second date with my wife. Never failed to start. 🙂. My dad had a beautiful 57 Chevy Belair that he bought used. Turquoise and white. That was our only family car at the time. It replaced well worn 54 Chevy. I think the 57 had the best look from that era though many were beautiful.

This picture isn’t mine, but another gorgeous and unusual car virtually identical to the one I inherited from my grandfather. 61 Plymouth Fury. Very fast too!!

To put this in a VP perspective, the photos were taken about 15 miles/minutes from We-Ko-Pa casino (formerly Fort McDowell) :)
