I chose to lunch at Johnny Rockets to check out the grilled cheese sourdough sandwich Olds has raved about. It was pretty good. I chose cheddar. Waitress looked like Kimmy from Full House. 13,000 step day, so I didn’t want to feel sluggish. Nice nostalgic environment. Hopefully I’ll see the staff break out dancing for patrons next time, which is a thing at JR.

I discovered that my favorite new place went out of business. I grudgingly pivoted to Doughtery’s Happy Hour. Delicious $6 meatball sliders, but light on the ricotta. Excellent $8 Kobe sliders. Presentation on both leaves much to be desired. Wish I got even more food. Hilarious quirky verbose waiter could be on a show like The Big Bang Theory.

Your grilled cheese looks good but a bit different than mine. Mine is piled high with sautéed onions and the cheese melts over the edge. Knife and fork almost a must. Haven’t ordered one yet so far this year.

I remember that now! I’ll ask for them next time. Just cheese is a mediocre sandwich. The brochure coupon discount made it an okay price. Do you get American cheese? AC franchise gives five options.

These were some Spartan meals indeed. The entries belong in Famine with FAA.

2 meals on the same day? The caloric intake surely surpassed 13,000 steps. Keep on truckin'.

Spartan meals included, black soup when not warring, when at war it was a meal of bread, cheese, wine, and meat. Alas, no mention of Kobe sliders.

Glorified snacks. Four sliders equal maybe ten ounces of meat. Light Hawaiian rolls. Lightweight grilled cheese sandwich. Straight shot to White House Subs from now on. Always impressed; the best never rest.
