Any news on how this place is looking? I might consider a brief stop here during the next trip to D.C, NYC or further down south. I still recall decades ago when this was a Trump MArina still! That places is Long gone now of course, but the fact Goldn Nugget was always stand-alone and unaffiliated with the other properties in AC made it have a different vibe. They have a good steak house-better than the usual casino resident steakhouses, Vic Anthony's, if I recall correctly. The very last pass through at this place for us, back around 2014 or so, we noticed they had a lot more old style, almost ancient vp machines from many years past, like some Bally Gaming games from the mid 90s decade, etc. If I had a choice these days I might opt to play older style games with their antiquated computer chips that don't randomize things at the speed of light! The speed of sound is sufficient lol

Blue Oyster Cult will headline on Saturday. I definitely fear the reaper in their casino! I am somewhat surprised that Hard Rock didn’t book them. But they probably booked an even better summer Saturday, The O’Jays and The Spinners on a double bill.
