Re: VideoPoker.com May Contest
I can't understand why we get an email about the contest 4 days after it starts, why not 4 days before it starts ? It is pretty fun though.

Well, I give up. Played probably a weeks worth. Had mucho quads, 7, 4 Aces for 4k apiece, 2 Royals, 1 dealt set of Aces for 12k. The best I could do was 15,450. Good luck to those that are going to flog it until the last dog is hung tonight. The only good thing is that I won the contest over Tangueray by 3000 or so.

Time to start whining to Webman about which game should be next. I think one of faygo's favorites (not THAT favorite!!!) should be next - Wild Thing. What say you?
The next one could also be Monoline - that way dealt nice hits won't affect anything.

CD Both good suggestions and I agree FF should not be one.

Mono-line sounds good. It does reduce the chances for a big paying dealt hand, and no doubt, luck will still be the biggest factor in winning. However, it's probably a more familar game to most players.
OTOH, a good game of QQs might be interesting as well. Has anyone seen it in the casinos yet? I thought it was supposed to be available in May.

I have not seen it in the casinos though I think I remember people saying that a similar game had been introduced a long time ago that didn't really catch on.
I would like to see QQs in a contest in a mono-line version! In a game where loses do not count directly against you, DEALT jackpot hands carry too much weight. Mono would require more skill as a DEALT RF would count no more than a MADE (on the Draw) one.
But I did like the Super Aces for a contest game option! I think it was probably the most lucrative game for the contest format in this last round. I'll be the variance on that game is way out there!

Not here in CO, but based on past experience new games don't make it here until six months or so after they've hit Vegas.
I had a question on this for WM. Will QQs be added to the list of games that can be found under "Find A Game"? The info there relating to the types of games and number of machines for the casinos here in CO is pretty accurate. That would be a nice and simple way for us to find out when QQs makes it to our fave local casinos.

As a guess I'll throw out 19,500.
So, Eduardo are you as good at guessing the number of Mexican Jumping Beans in a jar? Man , you got close.
