TKO at Harrah's

Post by TripleTriple »

Went back to work at Harrah's AC this past Friday. Should have called in sick. The place was mobbed, likely due to several promotions/giveaways and the pleasant weather. Waited a bit for the 5 Star machines in the Diamond Cove and deposited five hundred. Figured I'd give $5 credits a shot and not more than ten hands in was rewarded:

In around 5 minutes after getting paid:

Hand pays went smooth, taxes out and no hassles or delays. Continued on at the same denomination going for the Tyson knock out, but the fight ended up in Harrah's favor by unanimous decision. Managed only about 3000 TC and name was not called for the free play giveaway. Had a 20th floor Bayview room, but barely left any evidence of being in it. Seven hours later, after an expensive comped lounge meal I was on my way home.

Better luck next time Mike.

Better luck next time TT. Iron Mike was reportedly paid 20 mil, guaranteed. Next time you get a room, they have people who make up the bed so that you do not have to.

I knew the menacing Cove was a killer. But it was unusually generous in the first quarter hour. You had the power. I’d stock up a nice little makeshift bar after a gluttonous feast at La Strada. Alas, the insatiable urge to play wins. Hand pays were handed back but you’re stuck with their souvenir tax obligations. Horrors AC pulled the plug again. I suddenly don’t miss HAC as much.

TT, better luck next time.

but, what I really appreciate is the report on the entire trip results, not just showing the wins.

good for you!

Well, we still don’t know the bottom line details of the wipeout. Let’s very safely assume four figures.

No wonder why FAA brought his own turkey, no mention of it at all on the menu.

Triple suggest you move your paly to Borgata. There are five 5* machines, 2 in high limit, 2 right outside high limit and 1 in The Ghetto. Rooms and cliental a step up and Amphora is on another level. 7* is like Burger King compared to Amphora, food is always great, all top shelve liquor and fantastic desserts.
