I hardly play any Deuces Wild, but in plain old vanilla Deuces Wild, 5 of a kind only pays 60 coins. If you hold just the 3 deuces, you are guaranteed 25 coins at a minimum for the 4 of a kind plus open up the straight flush possibility as well. Why would you not hold just the 3 deuces and go for the 4th deuce?

Any deuces wild game I've played seriously pays either 75 or 80 coins for five of a kind. Holding the five of a kind is the better play, except in full pay deuces wild, where, if the five of a kind is 9s or lower, drawing to the three deuces is slightly better.
