Back From Vegas
I had an enjoyable trip even though I lost 700 dollars. That total included my tips and all my food for 8 days. I pretty much gambled all day as I was alone this trip.I stayed at Orleans, Harrah's and Treasure Island all free. Treasure Island gives me comps that I don't deserve and have for the last three years. It is like they have me confused with someone else, but I will continue to use what they give me.
No royal flushes or any real big hits but constant wins at crucial times. I did have a couple keno wins just above 1,000 that help me survive. I noticed the TGIF was closed at both Orleans and Gold Coast casino. I guess they have went bankrupt.
I did luck out with the weather as it was in the 70s and sunny my entire stay. I played in 7 casinos including a couple downtown. I was hungry one night while staying at Harrah's and decided to get a slice of pizza from the food court in Harrah's to take to my room. I didn't check the price and when the cashier told me it was 16 dollars I said " I only want a slice not a whole pizza" . She said it was a large slice. It was big but only maybe 1/4 inch thick. Also they have a selection of food, booze and snacks in the room for sale. Get this 2 waters and a small can of pringles would cost 45 dollars. Vegas strip is becoming unafordable for the average person. I use the free rooms from Caesar rewards on the strip because I earn them at Caesar's Windsor but my gambling is minimal on the strip.

Ditto, but glad the trip was kinda fun. Make up the 700 on a trade or 2. I can’t believe those prices. At Bizarro, the waters and chips would be 12 bucks at most. I can still get a great cup of Italian roast coffee and a delicious bagel made there with double cream cheese for 6 bucks total. A whole pizza at Pepes is just about 16 bucks and world famous. Anyway, stay safe and well. And warm!!!! We are dealing with gusts 50-60 mph today and tomorrow. Frigid temps

Yes the weather here in Ontario is terrible. Heavy snow for 3 days and now strong winds blowing it around and causing poor visabilty and big drifts. This was the first year we did not go south for the winter and we really missed it.
However spring is just over a month away!!!

Sounds like overall you had a nice trip. $700 for a week is very reasonable. Stay warm and healthy.

Yep, a nice trip on $85.00 a day. Too bad you didn't have any nice VP hits but congrats on the Keno wins.
I don't even look in the direction of the in-room snacks for fear of setting off the sensors. Pass on the pizza...

You got off rather easily this trip. Much different outcome sans the $2,000 Keno cash. Have to be relieved being safely home with most of the BR intact. I have not noticed any $16 pizza slices at Harrah’s AC, but I will stay vigilant.

I would agree that losing 85 bucks a day playing all day- without a royal!- is to be commended. Or were you playing 1 cent credits? I often lose $700 an hour without any big hits. Maybe I need to look into Keno....wait, check that...

Hmmmmm! 700 bucks an hour…..why does that sound so familiar? ( failing short term memory ). I better re read my post on the Bizarro thread. Stay safe Case. Hope the Mrs feels better.

Ha! Ask not for whom the Sun tolls. It tolls for thee! I tell ya, one RF hand pay and I quit this whole nefarious vice.
