Interesting way to celebrate Presidents Day weekend. I’d rather just go antiquing.

Yes, without dropping twenty benjamins in the process.

And you don't hear me whining about it like it was a $20.00 bill.

I would rather go antiquing ( being an antique already) and the casino too. Win/Lose that’s the name of the game. Like the old fur trader, let’s hope we can keep our thumb on the scales just a bit when it’s weigh in time. 👍

Just getting in a jab before his next jackpot tsunami renders this a distant footnote.

You throw jabs and I throw combinations, uppercuts, and haymakers.

No one, and I mean no one, beats VP on a consistent basis.
You can offset losses with comps and cash back, but there is no way to actually come out ahead over the long term. Even the so-called experts make their money on advice and side lines, not machines.
Enjoy the game, be responsible, have fun --- but if you're into it for money, sorry --- won't happen.
VP newbies need to be aware that when photos of big wins are posted here, they *never* offset the big losses, which strangely never seem to have photos.

It is a perspective acquired during 39 years of employment with the gaming industry. I am now retired so I am free to offer my perspective.
It is wonderful that folks do indeed hit winners in all casino games. The games are legit and fair. But they are not designed to produce consistent winners. Absolutely not. They are purposely designed to create the occasional winner, sometimes even the occasional big winner, with the knowledge that winners who spread the news of their winnings will attract more players.
So the casino is happy when you win, because facts do not lie: You cannot defeat the built-in profit margin that the casino operates on. Casinos are almost a magic investment because with prudent management they cannot lose --- their profits are guaranteed through regulation.
If you play once, or even just a few times, you might come out as a winner. But if you are a regular player, no, there is no legal method you can employ that will make you a consistent winner over time on a gaming machine in a regulated American casino. Anyone who tells you otherwise is sadly misinformed.
Play for fun, be responsible, know exactly how much you can afford to lose, and accept that the casino is a profit-making venture with a projected earnings margin. Unless poorly managed, casinos do not lose money.
